RDR2- How Arthur Can Free Roam Blackwater 

Well, my brother. I am happy to say that Arthur is now hanging out in front of the tailor’s shop in the town of Blackwater and is greeting the townsfolk as they pass by. Took a bloodbath of Pinkers and Blackwater police officers and evasive action both by land and river to finally accomplish this 😂. I had given up hope and was just having fun and looking to use up all Arthur’s ammo, thinking that He would eventually get killed. I got lucky. I couldn’t believe my luck. It was very unexpected. Calls for a lot of patience and a lot of luck, indeed😂 Thanks, brother.

Good video! But there is an easier way with Save Editor/Save Wizard where you can get everything for Arthur in New Austin easily. If you just want to explore Great Plains area and Tall Trees you can use Benedict Albright bounty.

Well…following from your fantastic lead, brother, I have now discovered an easier one shot method to get into Blackwater without getting the Pinkers involved. I have tried it only once, so it needs more testing. Here is what I did. I have a method of exploring tall trees and great plains which is as follows: I set up camp near Fort Riggs. Save. Acquire a 20$ bounty (no more than 20$) by killing a lawman. Return to the camp I set up. Save. Sleep until morning. Two bounty hunters will come after you. Kill one with a long range rifle shot, and approach the other on foot. He will dismount his horse. Disarm him of both his carbine repeater and revolver. Then mount your horse and have him follow you on foot towards BW, making sure that he always has visual on you. No PInkers will be activated while he pursues you. Once you get to BW, cross the broken border line, making sure not to spawn any lawmen in town. If their black dots appear ride away from them until the dots disappear. While within the border ride away from the bounty hunter until his red dot changes to the red blur. Try to move close to the vicinity of the workers camp. Once the bounty hunter’s red blur disappears, you are good. Just go into the tent at the top left hand corner of the camp and get yourself a good sleep until morning 😂 I was pleasantly surprised that my no-Pinkers-engagement method worked 😅 But you get all the kudos for jump-starting this.

I was able to steal an ardennes from one of the bounty hunters in chapter 2, by going in just a bit and then pulling one of them off when they came after Arthur.

You can't. Blackwater is on lockdown, after the massacre there, and the gunfight involving the Van der Linde gang, the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, and Landon Ricketts. The only time Blackwater is visited properly as Arthur is during the mission, "The First Shall Be Last" in which you as the player have to rescue Sean MacGuire from bounty hunters. On the outskirts of Blackwater.
