I had a pair of RDX T6 as my first MMA gloves and I like it. It's been more than two years and it's still good as new. The quality is fantastic. My complaint is that the loops for fingers are quite stiff at first making it uncomfortable for the first few sessions and the pinky is a little restrictive to get a good grip for me.
I'm in need of new sparring gloves for my FMA training, your review made my decision easy. Thank you! Also the T6 seem like a balanced decision from a budget perspective.
Nice review bro but i ve got a question. Are windy gloves more of a punchers glove or are they pillowy? Thinking of getting the windy lace ups or the fairtex mexican lace ups in 10oz for competition and bags/pads, which one would you say is better
Windy for me depending on the glove you get can be a good mix of both a puncher/pillow glove. I'd say similar fit to twins but similar padding to fairtex
Hey Al, im an amateur muay thai fighter and thinking about doing some mma, would u recommend these gloves or the sanabul essentials, or is there other budget gloves that are better? Thanks for the vid always helpful🙌
So I love them both but for me the essentials are a touch safer to spar with. Both equal quality for my money. If you want the same budget area there is also the combat sports safe spar gloves for around the same and Engage has the E series but Engage has a rep for not lasting long
I am trying to get as many of the mma sparring gloves people use so I can do a comparison video, probably gona be a little bit but maybe can do a yearly vid?
Hi, I practice Muay Thai and I've always wanted to try Mexican-style gloves. As we know, they're usually made for boxing. Does anyone know any Mexican-style boxing gloves with modifications suitable for Muay Thai? Ones that have that lovely pop sound?
I bought these and had to return them. They’re poorly designed. They make all the finger loops in a straight line and fingers don’t bend like that. I also had to fight them to let me return them. All RDX is, is a masterclass in how marketing can dupe people into buying subpar products.
Yeah, all the flashy colors and "science terms" they use for sure confuse people and on top of it the athletes they have signed as well. I liked these gloves but sorry you didn't!
