Re Birth of my Technics SL1200MK2 

Here is my quite used but newly acquired 1200. I at one time Was a pro club DJ in Puerto Rico and all I ever used was the 1200MK2. For a very short time i used SL1500MK2
So after 1991? About 31 years later I finally got my hand on a used beat up 1200 and was able to get her quite up to par/good working condition.
So I made an offer and they took it I probably could have gone even lower and probably would have still won the bid. Anyway i got her and immediately started working on gathering parts needed. I had pro RCA-DIN wires laying around in new new condition, plus added a new 18awg copper wire for grounding/bonding. New dust cover, new cartridge Otofon M2 Red and Stanton 680- DJ style stylus that came with an extra technics head-Shell i ordered off ebay so now with two original Technics head-Shell’s.
New LED target 🎯 light 💡 added as the original bulb was burnt out fixed. Tone arm was out of alignment probably from the piss poor packaging it came in. But was able to get the tone arm working like i think it should with out specialized tools and accessories for fine tuning. Bottom line she is working and I’m once again enjoying Vinyl records. Sounds sweet clean works like a champ. RPM Consistent speed on 33 1/3 & 45 check out perfect.
