Seeing as we're offering up personal opinions here, I agree with you...but 'Little Oblivions' is a masterpiece, taking her into brilliant songsmithing territory. (It's been in constant rotation for me for months on shuffle mode. In Julien's words, 'repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat...')

Seen her live & dammit I’m not a crying man by any means but this shit almost brought a tear to my eye as a bunch of people around me in the venue started tearing up & at the end of the song I could tell she was about to, because this song still had a lot of meaning to her at the time.

That seems to be her vibe whenever I see footage of her. I think she just goes through a lot mentally, hence the lyrical content of her music. Some artists use it as an act, but I think she’s generally troubled, which makes day-to-day activities exhausting.
