Looks pretty easy peasy. Gets a little more exciting on offroad cars when u have to chain the jack to the car to make torsion plate move. Thanks for the video.
Firebull02 was here! Thought about doing this on the dune buggy we rebuilt. Unfortunately it appeared to have been narrowed and someone had welded stops at the pivot point.
One time we tried to do something like this for my bus but the jack wasn't enough to push it back up. so what we had to do was call a guy to put them back in but he ripped us off. yeah he got him back in but that's all he did. He had a really neat tool go get it up there without using a jack though
Kit Caboodle if you have that problem again you can chain the jack to the torsion and then use the jack to jack the spring plate up the car cannot move it is chained to the jack , i learned trick at R&S
i did this SUCESSFULLY EXCEPT outer bushings from fisher the RED ONES where to fat ! could not reinstall the plate even with longer bolts , QUESTION are there diff sizes out dia on these , NO ONE CAN ANSWER ME this old man needs help on this one ,i ended up leaving the old ones in they were not that bad surprisingly THANK U
