The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) was created in 1923 to commemorate the service and sacrifice of the U.S. Armed Forces.
More than 200,000 American fallen and Missing in Action (MIA) are interred and honored at our cemeteries and memorials.
ABMC is proud to bring you a series of brand new videos that highlight the beauty, sanctity and serenity of our sites. Whether you have visited an ABMC cemetery or want to, we hope you will enjoy this introduction to our cemeteries and how the fallen are honored every day.

While I was stationed in Europe I went to as many of these cemeteries as I could (I believe I got to 14). Every one of them was worth the trip. Thank you to the ABMC for maintaining these incredible monuments.

This was a deeply stirring video for me. Although I have no members of my immediate family that died and are buried in any of the cemeteries this video. It spoke to my heart and to my soul. Thank you so much for making this video and for your continued support of these final resting places for so many of America's heroes.

ABMC is perhaps the best thing America does. The grounds of any ABMC military memorial and cemetery are first class, none better. It represents the very tip-top best of America and shows the world what kind of people we are (or were).

Leave these heroes here, in Belgium.soldiers to rest in this beautiful place. R.I.P. where they may rest. Belgium is a place these heroes will be honored for what they did, forever. My uncle, Donald Maddox, died doing his job in a plane, shot down, as a forward observer. He is buried in that beautiful place where he lays, today. R.I.P. Uncle Donald; we will honor you here in the USA, forever
