Hey vikas just descorved you 4 months ago and since then I am hooked up to your videos bcoz of really nice knowledge about bikes which I really like and just wanting to know when is the part 3 of you life serose is comming out.
Few days ago my JAWA 42 (2019 MODEL) faced a starting problem with self not working took it to AUTHORIZED SERVICE and they checked replying self motor had damaged need to be changed, to know at what cost it could be damaged i asked service mechanic and with a silence hesitatingly went to his senior and who came to me said it could happen just like that anytime, without proper reason and explanation they told me to change the self motor which cost 9k just for spare. with great disappointment i reached to local mechanic who experienced with super bikes he sent me to another bike electrician mechanic to check my vehicle, he said no need to change part we can just repair it which he had done to another jawa bike few days ago. somewhat relaxed and i again reached to authorized service mechanic to discuss about the repair of part rather than replacing it, but he answered here we just change the spare but do not involve in repairing. does this really happens with all service centers.
Finally a really casual and candid podcast by you both. The ending got me 😂 I too have faced fuel pump failure on my classic 500 so i converted it into a carbureted bike. Iam from Hyderabad too and new to making motovlogs! Keep going guys 🤘🏽
This happened to me on February 7'th, 2024 with my Hyosung GT Comet V-twin 250 which just did 5 thousand KMS. I was riding and all of a sudden, there was a high smell of petrol from the left side. I contacted tarun (the guy in the video and I appreciate his swift response) The bike was spitting atleast 100 ml of petrol on each ignition as mentioned in the video everytime I turned the ignition. I towed my bike as my house was only 0.7 kms. I inspected the bike after I bought it home and got to see that actually the fuel pump pipe came off due to vibrations. The next day, a local mechanic fixed it. Thank God it wasn't an issue like mentioned in the video.
one just simple trick, if u got any crack on plastic items like they fitted on petrol pump, just heat some needle and create some 2-3mm path on crack with that heat. here is the sweat trick, first add clear anabond 666 then red anabond, then glue stick gum. glue stick is optional. anabond tolerate heavy worst acidic nature of engine oil and fuel also.
Infact I was eagerly waiting to tell that, from this podcast, you would get enough money to buy more fuel pumps , then you said it, I like me it, be always accept it. Any how, I have a Karizma 2003 model, clocked 1.25Km, still road worthy, though have minor problems. Whoever the manufacturer is, as these motorcycles are expensive, they ought to have give good things for the money spent by customers. Iam also having 310GS, 2018 model, its parts , even tiny bolts are made with good materials and workmanship, thank you buddy, more podcasts expected .
I have a issue with my interceptor where fuel pump randomly stops priming….its been 1 year since the problem…i changed relays, battery, kill switch & lockset…but still problem not found….sometimes oi works fine for months & then the same problem comes back ..service centre is clueless like always…
When you know everything, you should have got it replaced by RE itself... doesn't matter warranty, out of warranty..they should replace it without cost.
RE inability to solve problems even after so many years is what surprises me. I had seriously thought of buying the new GR450, but RE owners gave feedback saying its on your luck whether you get a good bike or lemon.
That's why, I don't even think about RE, doesn't matter what they make, what they said. No trust on Indian manufacturer at all. Always a Honda, Suzuki Or kawasaki. That's it. RE is a cheap manufacturer who completely ruined the British legacy...
