The canusausuk meme of all the ex patriots wanting to love too died ten years ago or so but the governments are still propagandizing based on a dead way of life. I’m sorry you guys have been on the receiving end of the tension and anger even I see in the comments. I served in the military with Canadians of all backgrounds including lots of south Asians in a culture that was basically “whatever” about our backgrounds and saw ourselves as Canadians first - the prime minister and his collaborators have seriously damaged that spirit.
It really breaks my heart to see you facing this unfortunate situation living in Canada. I have been following your channel since you posted your first videos in Saint John, and I can easily spot the difference on your faces. I know it is that bad as I have come across dozens of other videos posted by many immigrants as well as Canadians who expressed with tears their struggle to live in Canada these days but what make it even worse to immigrants is that they are taking the blame for what is happening now in Canada. Though, I understand that, in a way, but what makes it even worse for everyone is that nobody seems to do anything to either make life better or even have a clear plan with milestone dates to give people hope in their future. Yes, it is a global crisis happening for reasons beyond common people control but don't make them lose hope because that is in nobody's benefits.
Canada has become a really bad place to be in. It's not only immigrants struggling. Things are bad for people born here too. The standard of living has colapsed.
