리이의 25 S/S "This Appearance; Disappearance"는 패션의 임시적 형성과 소멸, 존재와 사라짐을 탐구합니다. 유사한 발음이지만 상반된 의미를 가진 단어들을 통해 현재의 화려함이 결국 시간의 흐름 속에서 사소한 이야깃거리에 불과하다는 모순을 드러냅니다. 매 시즌 나타나는 트렌드와 스타일은 순간적 불꽃처럼 화려하지만 곧 사라지며 망각되기 마련입니다. 시간의 경과와 일시적 흔적을 시각적으로 재해석하여, 등장과 소멸, 존재와 부재의 덧없음을 표현합니다.

RE RHEE's 25 S/S collection, "This Appearance; Disappearance," explores the transient formation and dissolution of fashion, as well as the existence and disappearance of its essence. Through contrasting terms, it reveals the paradox that current splendor ultimately becomes a trivial anecdote in the flow of time. Each season's trends and styles are like momentary sparks, dazzling but soon fading and forgotten. By visually reinterpreting the passage of time and ephemeral traces, it expresses the impermanence of appearance, existence, and absence.
