RE saddle bags for old classic 350 . 

Regarding panier let me warn you guys. The panier has hard plastic like material in the back side to support panier which goes all the way to the bottom. And when riding due to constant vibration the hard cover in the back tends to tear after repeatedly getting struck by hardcover and panier mount.

My question is can you mount Himalayan panniers in that saddle tray?. Did you even tried it?
