The wait is finally over! A brand new video game based on the hit graphic novel series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, has been announced and we have all the details for you.
In this hopefully action-packed game, you'll play as the last surviving turtle as he takes on a dystopian future New York City overrun by mutants and ninjas. Armed with swords, nunchucks, bo staffs, and sais, you'll fight your way through the sewers and streets, facing off against iconic villains like Shredder and the Foot Clan.

Well Mikey is the original Last Ronin so if they were to make you choose who will be The Last Ronin is kinda Bland since He already has all the weapons that the other turtles carry so he’s basically all of them combined since he’s basically As wise as Leo Smart as Donnie and Angry as Ralph so I’m all in for it No matter what

Honestly I think we have plenty of TMNT with humour. It’s like saying adapting Marvel and DC superheroes isn’t OK if the superheroes don’t wear tight spandex and are pure good characters with not an ounce of moral greyness at all.

I am beyond stoked to hear this news. Growing up I was a huge TMNT fan and remained so as an adult. When I heard about The Last Ronin I had to have it, now hearing that it's going to be a video game is like being a kid again. 🤯🤯

mikey is and was my favourite turtle since childhood and will be my fav turtle as long as i love tmnt. and gow expecially new ones are one of my fav games till date. so getting one of my favourite comics adapted to the game similar to one of my fav games and with my fav turtle will be the best thing ever and i cant wait for it to come out. i want to see how it turn out.

I imagine this game will be Arkham Knight with a cyberpunk city, and as the last ronnin. And you can use each weppon with a skill tree for each one like god of war.

I would have preferred this in an Arkham/Spider-man style open world and combat system but the 2018 God of War angle could work. The DLC could be The Lost Years and Segments with Casey and April. I'm thinking the game would have you play as each turtle during those flashback sequences in the comic making up the earlier levels/mission in the game as you play with each turtle you'll unlock skills/abilities tied to their weapons/personalities and attributes like Intelligence/Gadgets/Crafting with Donnie, Stealth/Strategy with Leo, Combat and Equipment with Raph and Health/Moral with Mikey completing half the skill tree or a bit less once you get to playing as the last ronin the story as such would be segments between past and present and you could get ability to communicate with the fallen brothers perhaps even call them in ghost style for special moves, tips, dialogue etc perhaps a possible co-op mechanic but i feel like deviating too much. The core game will be based on The Last Ronin in its entirety and like Cyberpunk 2077 it could have an animated show to go alongside it. I could even see The Last Ronin also having a sanity mechanic like Hellblade/A Plague Tale: Requiem where the actions The Last Ronin takes would have an effect on him leading to different ways levels/encounters play out, combat, exploration, dialogue etc due to all the loss, stress and trauma The Last Ronin has endured.
