I think a good metric is if you think Halo sucked until 343 started making it then you'll love the Halo tv show. 343 weren't fans of the Bungie Halo lore and universe so they made sure the TV show followed their idea of what Halo should have been about.

I liked Season 1 and I am fan, been playing since I was small kiddo. Also Master Chief takes off helmet many times in apocrypha sources like animated movies and books. For music in Season 2 responsible is Bear Mccreary and you smear him with shit. You logic is flawed.

You know there are two versions of the fall of reached storyline the book version that came out before the game and then the video game version from bungees and 2010 taking aspect from the book version I believe because Noble didn’t exist back in 2001, all the way to 2007 that’s why The controversy with the book in the game was so heavy back in 2010 with Bilitis who loved the book of the fall of reach. They hate the game because it was in accurate to the book. Then you have the gamers that love the game, and loved it as its own thing not as the book.
