I used some road sign to build metal ramps for a 20ft flatbed aircraft trailer I built. I also used some as kickout splash guards to hold saddle bags off to the side of a motorcycle I have. Hurricanes blow them down or people run over them here occasional and I'll make a mental note of it and come back later when I need it.
I find them at auctions or swap meets. There is a bent one on the ground I might scavenge. A bike crossing sign. I have a vintage Colonial Trail sign awaiting a project and license plates from all over the world. It always feels great to come up with creative reuse projects. I debated using two 50 caliber ammo boxes as saddlebags on my motorcycle, but they were just too bulky and heavy. You should check out my friends film on RU-vid "ReUse because you can't recycle the planet". The original Tornado Garden is shown and tons of cool ideas. I helped him convert a Uhaul truck into a tiny house and he uses the side of it as a screen to play his film at schools all over the country. Thanks for the comments and like. About to sub to your channel(s). Cya on the road! :)
@Tornado Garden she's a cutie! Yes, allowing them to feel safe, building trust, working at the acceptance and comfort, to get to the end result -- so we can enjoy them riding together with us. They're the best, our canine companions, just the best!!
@@feelthepeace I tried walking her on a leash and riding in PAS 1....she yanked me to the ground going after a cat. The headline read: Cat saved by roadrash!
@@feelthepeace I'm sure it was slapstick gold physical comedy to watch. It ended with me reeling in a 65lbs thunderball and limping away. I'm sure my neighbor has it on their #RingDoorbell, but I dare not ask...
