ReZERO Season 3 release date is OCTOBER 2024. A new visual confirms the season will be adapting both Arc 5 and Arc 6. It's possible that Season 3 will be longer than 25 episodes (hopefully) but the episode count hasn't been confirmed yet. Re:zero as an anime is so underrated, it is not talked enough upon. Subaru is also one of the greatest MCs across any animangas, especially his suffering in the IF; Greed route.

I agree that Re:zero as a series is goated but Subaru as an MC is only above average (imo) when compared to all the true MC goats out there (the extremely well written and competent ones) Edit: The thing with Subaru is that he only becomes more competent/a better character after dying. It’s easy to add layers upon layers of character depth/development when said character can basically reset themselves. Meanwhile there are MCs out there that have a lot of depth/layers (Lelouch, L, Ayanokoji, etc…) and are very capable without the use of death as a gimmick to build them up. This is just my personal opinion though, since I view the use of tropes like death and constant suffering as ‘the easy way’ for writers to build up an interesting characters.
