It is amazing, so FEW VETERANS are working in hollywood (and i doubt it is due to lack fo intrest, i dont imagine many veterans would turn down a 200k a year job instead or returning to work at Wal-Mart)🎉. After ww2 and the Korean War, veterans were valued for their stories and made up a huge percentage of writers' rooms and on stage. Today, you will be hard pressed to find an ACTUAL VETERAN in hollywood. These men/women grew up during 23 YEARS OF WAR, and never thought to walk into a recruitment office. Now, they will make millions playing the roles, badly portraying service members. Hollywood will make millions off the name and legacy of veterans, but they sure won't hire them.
