I thank you for that. I also bought a wind-up Timex 400 for $25, only to find that the main spring was broken. But...I had it repaired, bought a new old stock band, and now have a GORGEOUS piece. I love design, form, and function too! The watch that I asked you about, previously, is aesthetically gorgeous too, in that the dial is round, but the case is more of a tank design. The seller says it's working, and keeping time. It looks to be in like new condition. I figure for $65, I'll chance it.

I bought a 60s Timex a few months back for about $30. The dial itself was so pristine, so beautiful. On top of that, it kept amazing time. I ended up giving that watch away to someone special to me. However, I regret giving that watch away every time you talk about them. haha Congrats on 100k!

After watching this video I found a 60s manual wind Timex for $10 at a flea market. It looks very similar to yours, but the only numeral on the dial is 12. Really happy with it - thanks for the video! Perfect little vintage dress watch.

I have the exact model from 1968. I put mine on a black leather and it looks beautiful, even on my 8" wrist. I paid more (twice as much) but it is almost perfect, and you were right, the prices are rising. Thank you so much.

I just got a vintage Marlin as a Christmas present. I looks to be from 1965 or 66. It is also one of those made in the UK.

Lo and behold, the reissue of this comes out and creates a little bit of a buzz...

Congratulations! The Timex has a beautiful champagne color. This watch is very similar to a Vantage watch, which was made by the Hamilton watch company. I picked it up really cheap on eBay. It was dirty and full of grime but the watch worked excellent. I opened it up to see why it was working so well. It had a dust cover over a beautiful 17 Jewels ST 442 movement. To my amazement, It was shining and ticking away like the fist day it was sold. It had the original elastic stainless steel bracelet. It's so comfortable I actually slept with it. The watch is beautiful and a steal. There is definitely a lot of potential for collectors. Your correct when you said these watches will only go up in price in the future. I love this watch, lol. Enjoying your success!.

I have just bought a 1975 Timex Sprite, because like the watch I was born in Dundee in the 70's. The factory closed in 1993. The BBC just made a really good documentary about the factory and the industrial dispute and closure.
