Today we take a trip all the way to the end of a never-ending game! Or at least, sort of... Enjoy! Like cookie clicker? More idle clicker-based games here: clickergameslike.com/pages/de...
*~~~Please read before commenting! Thanks!~~~* Well, this video has gained an unusual amount of traction lately; so first things first, thanks to everyone who stopped through to give this a watch! Now, I'd like to address a common complaint I've seen in the comments about leaving out certain things about the game; and hopefully clear up any misconceptions. This video is about how to reach the end of cookie clicker, which in a game with no end, is subjective. My sense of 'beating' the game is when you're operating at maximum efficiency and have maxed out your production. Other people see the 'end' of the game as being when you unlock all the achievements, which is another good way of looking at it. This really just comes down to how you define beating a game that never actually ends. But regardless on your outlook of what it means to reach the end of the game, this video showcases everything I wanted it to, and serves the purpose I intended it for. So what stuff didn't I cover? 1. As mentioned earlier, there are achievements you earn by completing certain things or getting to a certain production level, as well as shadow achievements that are hidden and rare to unlock. 2. There are little 'minigames' that can be played with the farm, temple, and wizard towers which can all do a host of interesting things for you. 3. Seasons. Cookie clicker has different seasons that come around and can give special perks to you. If you'd like to see an in-depth dive into all these different game mechanics and others in a new video, let me know! There are also different commands that can be used in the console to further your cheating in the game :) I think that just about covers everything. If you have further questions or concerns, leave them in a reply to this comment so I'll be sure to see it! Thanks again for watching!
Part of maximum efficiency is getting all the achievements though. Those kitten upgrade directly impact cookie production based on achievements earned. Shadow achievements do not matter for this. Then you have all the upgrades directly from the grandma apocalypse, which is easy to get. This is probably why most people are complaining with your current end game as you are still not at the peak cookie production efficiency
I thought the end of the game is when you reach In,fin, ity prestige levels, which at that point if you ascend, the game basically breaks on you, making it no longer playable. I can show you a screenshot of what something like that might look like if you're confused.
How did he not even scratch the surface please tell me how him missing a couple of things is not scratching the surface I mean please tell me what he missed
The end of the game is when you reach an integer overflow or w/e, i.e. where the game simply can't count any higher. When you are no longer able to buy any new buildings because they cost a completely impossible amount, etc. The highest possible CPS.
so, just so you know quintillion and stuff is ALREADY 'over the integer number lol. the game ahs ways of counting huge numbers. i would imagine they have it so you can basically count on forever
@@pvic6959 no i used an exploit(spoiler, google inspect, yeah it's pretty easy) an gave myself an ungodly ammount of cookies and i mean, UNgodly, and the game said "Infinity cookies"
I made it to the end. I reached infinity cookies, ascended, bought every upgrade possible and rebirthed, but couldn't buy anything because I already had infinity cookies per second so nothing was worth enough to buy
No, It gets worse. I just got to the point where I did so many hacks that I had infinity (like you) but I ascended, bought everything, and guess what, I STILL HAVE INFINITY COOKIES. I can't buy anything, now everything is infinity and I can't do anything. Beat that, I dare you.
@@meancraft2811 Me and anybody who doesn't like cheating: No, this isn't how you play the game Seriously what's the point if you are just gonna press "Ruin the Fun" on the saysopensesame GUI or game.Win(); on the console EDIT: spelled sesame wrong
U forgot to mention the 3 minigames you unlock by using sugar lumps on the garden, the temple and the wizard tower. Otherwise I consider the ending of the game when you have all the 500+ Achievements and maybe all shadow achievements because then you have done everything the game has to offer.
PLZ TELL ME ALL SHADOW ACHIEVEMENTSI HAVE THESE ONES: cheated cookies taste awful (auto clicker), god complex, make 1M cookies in ,15, 25 and 35 minuets and the just plain lucky one
Having been an addict to this game myself, and played enough to have over 700 days worth of playtime in the game... I reached this stage the legit way without cheating, and GOD did that ever take a long time... Unfortunately however, my entire game reset for unknown reasons, breaking the curse and freeing me in the process. I'm still sad I never got to the point where I purchased every single purchasable upgrade or got every single achievements... But oh well, what can you do, right? XD
Progress towards the end of the game (for me, 100% achievements) goes well up until you hit the Sugar Wall I might call it. Sugar Lumps by default take a full day to spawn, with all lump related upgrades you can get it down to 20 hours, and they can mutate into lumps that might drop 2 or 3 though the chances of that are hard to rely on, on top of that if you click them after 18 hours with these upgrades set you can knock it down to 18 hours for the cycle (using refreshes if it fails to pluck)... then on top of all that you can use the garden to farm more sugar lumps but they are annoyingly rare unless you waste a lot of time refreshing the page to get one to grow with the setup. Basically, factoring all kinds of stuff together I'd estimate you can essentially get a sugar lump every 14 hours at max efficiency coming back every day trying to get more, but usually around 18-20 hours... But... but then... the problem is... you need 935 to max out all 17 buildings for the achievements... even at the 14 hour insanity-efficiency-estimate that's still a year and a half of actively needing to check the game. This grind is worse than ANYTHING else in the game.
I can not describe how thankfully I am, for that video. I was addicted to Adventure Capitalist and played it hundreds of hours. Now I was trapped with cookie clicker and didn't saw an end in my life time. THANK YOU!
After 2 months of playing this game I can confirm this game has no end and has the ability to completely trap anyone it can get it’s greasy little hands on.. But OTHER THAN THAT, good video! Maybe cookie clicker lore video some day?
For the permanent upgrade slots, the kitten power-ups are the worst to get. To be the most efficient, you need to get the five highest -illion finger upgrades that you have. They increase the amount of CpS with the number of cursors you have. You can have up to 999 cursors. Kittens increase CpS by 5% for every achievement you have which is far fewer than the number of cursors you can get.
So I recently started a new CC save, because my old (good) one was on my old computer and I replaced it with a newer one. And for some reason, I wasn't getting sugar lumps. I remember on my old one I had a heck ton, so I was like 'what why'. Then I saw I needed 1 billion cookies to get them when I looked it up. idk this is llke a little story i had
techy 804 doesn’t really fix the fact that I can’t play tho cause apparently after rebirthing I still had inf cookies and cps so it doesn’t let me collect any
(While it's true you take off shorten numbers) To me, beating the game would be reaching the maximum amount of cookies in the bank. It will eventually get so high it'll shorten to "Infinity".
That wasn't every heavenly upgrade you bought, there are 3 hidden upgrades which each give you +1% cps and -1% upgrade or building cost, and they only appear when your total prestige level ends with 7, 777 and 777 777 respectively
Keep up the grind you helped a lot but the one thing I don’t like every time you go back to upgrade something it resets all your cookies I’m going to subscribe to you
technically, the way the game runs there is a maximum number of buildings you can buy before the price reaches a value the code can't handle and it tells you it costs infinite cookies
If you hover your mouse over a grandma, it shows their name and age. Once I found a grandma that was "BUT IT WAS ME DIO" LOL. only weeks can understand this
