Agera RS Did 280+ in 2.3 mile. Something wrong with agera HH. I will come to that runaway on this year with my agera RS to post RU-vid. Even agera S much faster than that at 2.3 mile. And venom gt did 270 mph in 2.3 mile. Agera RS is FASTER than venom GT.
@RobertPope-RAZ no engineers, no e85, no full team to configure the car to go that speed. Still a way off but alot of factors play a part in going that fast

But okay what you said no e85 and other else. But team not need for make agera faster. Because once agera production from KOENIGSEGG then just floored the pedal gas and top speed right there. Like every cars u buy. Even I experienced many cars I owned. Even Lamborghini and MCLAREN SLR, all of them top speed I did with pump gas. For my agera RS I did pump gas and MUCH faster than that pink agera HH. I was did on freeway I-15 toward to Las Vegas. I will try set record with pump gas only top speed on this summer with video and GPS. :-) excited! Then E85 tuned and rerun top speed again. I will remove mirrors and tuned which no one agera RS did top speed without mirrors ;)

Damn, props to you for being the only person that owns a car like this and taking it to top speed. Also goes to show you how fast the SSC Tuatara is, it did 295mph on this same drag strip a few years ago.

@@conor7154You are confusing it with the earlier attempt, which was claimed to be over 310mph, but turned out to be false. Then they repeated it several times, and ended up with 295mph. This is validated, so it is true. Even though it is only one way, so not a record.
What makes this channel so great is that strad is doing one of the most insane things on earth and he doesn’t make a huge event out of it. He just brings his buddies and does it for himself.

Watching this so slowly increase in speed after 200 makes the Chiron even more impressive. Even the standard Chiron goes up to 276mph quite easily but the 300+ is mindblowingly fast

Hey James, I’ve been a huge fan of yours for so long. Knowing you lived in Utah I never expected to see any of your cars. This weekend I got to see your koenigsegg at a dealership near me in North Carolina. Such an amazing experience
James: 3 million dollar hyper car, 224 mph in 1.3 miles Cleetus: 150K ish elcamino, 240 mph in .25 mile. Both road legal Street cars, elcamino has more street miles lol. 2 totally different paths, different interests, different skill sets, but they both joined the 200 mph club. @@eazy_e.7153 car is 80K, blown up SMX from Steve is probably 50k-70k. He does race week, over 1000 miles, just him and a co driver. He has the street car version, radiator, alternator, no AC. The all out 6.30 run was in full race mode. If you don't know what you're talking about, just ask a question, people will help you out lol

I have personally done automotive testing at the Kennedy Space Center and worked directly underneath that space shuttle. Fun fact: it is an active runway and is regularly used for astronauts to land on when they fly in; sometimes in fighter jets. Prior to landing, you can hear them announce their intentions via radios (supplied by the testing company) to the control tower and to communicate with drivers to clear the runway. Super cool place
The veyron run wasnt on a proper air strip and there was a turn there. Despite that veyron hit 216 mph on the speedometer. The actual gps speed which was measured was after when james had lifted from the accelerator so it was measured less than 200 mph. Anyways both these cars are pinnacle of engineering.

The problem with drag cars though is you only go maximum speed for a fraction of a second before shutting the car down. It would be nice to set a drag car up with street gearing and give the shuttle landing strip a run in an aerodynamic vehicle for 2 miles. It would require active aero though to keep it planted.

@@gungadinnthe tires couldn’t handle it. At least normal race tires. Those cars could go 350+mph easy but the tires can’t. The fastest pro mod drag car just recently did 260mph in a 1/4 mile. Funny cars and top fuel dragsters do 330 in 1000ft

After 190mph it gets very sketchy in agera even in the video. It takes proper guts to drive such a monstrous machine all by yourself and couple of buddies at 224mph. James is a legend
