Great flight, After 4 years of flying drones, I did my first Flight Plan last Saturday 10_Aug_2019, 4.7K over the Tralee Ship Canall. I was nervous also but more so than you I think. But no need. Finished its flight as planned. Bebop2 standard. They are really a very sturdy and realiable drone. even in 2019.
It is always an describable feeling when the screen brightens up with the view the Bebop sees as it comes back into contact. Very good video. God bless.

Hugo , awesome vid. Thanks for the Parrot lens breakdown! It has been valuable to me, now have the lens wedged with gaffa, adjustable after any impacts, want to look at alternative wide and narrow angle options now. You're a star and you truly provide wisdom!
Great job Helder👌👌👌 I mostly use Flight Plan with my BB2P and hate it when I lose signal. All you can do is wait for reconnection and nothing sounds better than hearing the BB2 props overhead. My baby has come home😁 Very nerve racking but very rewarding. Awesome video👏👏👏👏👏

Great job Helder! Your posts are always very interesting! I have yet to send my 'Power" off on a flight plan. I find it scary enough just watching yours :)
and this is what i miss about the bebop 2 ..just bought evo 1 month ago now i will buy the anafi and do this exact same thing... .. i miss the flightplan with parrot.....i have done waypoints with evo but nothing compares to the flightplan on parrot drones......plus i trust parrot more than i trust any other company ..good video
I love FlightPlan. It never failed in any of the flights I have done so far with any Parrot Drones. Bebop 1, Bebop 2, Bebop 2 Power, Anafi and Disco. All worked flawesly and precise. Wish Dji have a FlightPlan.
@@Helderhugo thats exactly why i said i trust parrot more than any other drone company ...i to have alot of videos close to 50 i know all on a external drive ....and the flightplan is all i did 3 miles out and you are right it has never ever failed me......the signal always popped right back in once it got closer to me ...... and i dont want to use that litchi app for the mavic..... if its not dji app i dont want to take that risk...
I am truly a parrot fan as well all my drones are parrots..but my only complaint for parrot is that their batteries don't last a year...I've had 5 batteries die in 10 months ( 3 have lasted..mostly parrot bebop 1 batteries
Epah, espectacular! Comprei agora um Bebop 2 e nao sei se tenho coragem de fazer isso por enquanto... Entretanto já aprendi mais uma hoje! Passei muito tempo, até há uns 20 e muitos anos atrás, quando era puto, no parque da comenda com a familia e nao fazia a mais pequena ideia da importancia desse palacio... Além disso, os meus pais trabalhavam na Torralta e foi onde eu andei na creche, há 40 anos! Obrigado!!! (espero que, agora com o brinquedo novo, continue na mesma a fazer mais videos com o BeepBeep 😉) Abraco
Obrigado. No principio nem convém aventurar muito até conhecermos bem a máquina e os seus limites e capacidades. Depois aos poucos ir experimentando novas coisas. Entre muitas coisas uma delas foi nunca pensar em ver no estado em que se encontra e ir pessoalmente ao palácio da comenda e fazer este voo. Parece tudo ficção cientifica mas agora é realidade banal. This is quite familiar with my experiences of the Anafi and flight plan. When the signal is lost on an extreme route you are at a loose end. What can you do? Wait and try not to panic. Is 7 m/s as fast as you can go with the Bebop 2 Power? The Anafi allows you to select up to 11 m/s, but usually gives a bit less. I have made dozens of Flight Plan flights planned out to about 12 minutes, most of them involve at least one break in the signal. I have found that sitting the controller down on the car roof (if nearby) pointing at the right bit of sky can allow me to distract myself with photography until the controller buzzes into life, which can usually be heard on the roof. I don't think I have ever done a flight plan with a break in the signal that didn't involve me thinking that it must have crashed this time... But I fight that thought and normally the return connection kicks in when I am thinking "any... moment ... now... YES!"
Obrigado. Tinha a árvore na frente. Acredito que o alcance seria maior e talvez até nem perdesse o sinal se não fosse a árvore entre o Skycontroller 2 e o Bebop 2 Power.
LOL - you always assume that something has/will go wrong. I like using flight plans, as I tend to get much more stable video footage. However, I am equally worried when I lose connection, and then am very happy when the connection comes back . Ian :-)
Great video! I love my Bebop2 Power. I have to wonder why there are vehicles on that island. Looks like you could walk anywhere on the island in 5 mins.

Helder - you were making ME nervous just watching the first part of you Bebop 2 Power journey! - Why no map I wonder?? - Original signal lost at 1400M in clear air space - is that normal? - More great backing music by the way :-) Maybe you need to take a friend with you that has a strong telephoto lense camera - to relieve some of the stress? Another awesome Helderhugo professional production ......
Thank you very much for your comments! I have trees in between the Skycontroller 2 and the Bebop 2 Power here during the flight. I believe if there are no trees in front the signal were better. I prefer to do this flights alone just because it causes distractions with people around talking and asking questions.
Hi World and Hugo the best droner ! I just start to use flight plan for bebop2 it's Amazing !! Now i want to make the same flight (with flight plan and my phone without skycontroler) . We have an iland 2,5km from beach but i'm little afraid ..and i have 2 questions: 1- Is it possible to lost GPS signal? ,if yes what will happend with the drone? 2- I have 24 flights hours with this bebop, is it time to change engines?? If you will do these flight seriously you must use other antennas than the stuff that comes with the drone. Use a directional antenna at the transmitter (facing the drone) and a suitable omnidircetional antenna on the drone with same characteristics. This will help you a lot !!

ich hatte damals eine DJI Phantom 3 Pro, erweitert auf 32 Kanäle, 4500m Distanz war kein Problem, (wegen Akku beschränkt).. Empfang bei 100%, um Empfangsprobleme zu vermeiden solltest du nicht unter 200m fliegen, dann reißt die Verbindung nicht ab
Too bad Parrot decided to stay with WIFI transmission. This is a big error in my opinion. My Mavic Pro could manually be operated with clear transmission at this distance without the aid using an automated Flightplan software.
You asked at 11:20 should you be worried. I agree with your own answer. 200+ successful long range flight plans with my bb2, I quit worrying a long time ago. I was looking forward to you waypointing around your destination and several poi's. Maybe next time. Very nice video my friend.
