I got all the way through, expect at 20:26 where you did setRegion ({ latitude: details.geometry.location.lat, longitude: details.geometry.location.lng,}) Im getting a Type Error in the console that says ERROR TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'details.geometry.location'). I have looked every where and nothing is working, do you have any suggestions?

But I encounter errors in compilation such as: "export 'Animated' was not found in './lib/components/MapView' "export 'ColorPropType' was not found in 'react-native-web/dist/index' "export 'MAP_TYPES' was not found in './lib/components/MapView' I dont know what causes this trouble

Input does not get filled in on suggestion selection. Also getting a warning for "VirtualizedLists should never be nested inside plain ScrollViews with the same orientation because it can break windowing and other functionality - use another VirtualizedList-backed container instead." May have something to do with it... Don't see how, but it's the only error I'm getting Any suggestions?
It's in the docs... Can't believe I missed it for so long. Just add "keyboardShouldPersistTaps" to the surrounding scrollViews. Still gives a warning but it works Hope this helps someone

I am stuck in the seach. when i try to search, i dont get any results, no error :( i have given my key too) Tried complete copy and paste of your code and just put my Key. But still search not working. Do i need to add billing account too ??
1) odd: using "const" for pin, setPin gives me an error "pin is read only" on DragEnd 2) After dragging, my circle doesn't change. If we're only setting "setPin" on DragEnd, yet circle is using "pin", how is the circle supposed to move to the new location?
you link the variables together when you have them in brackets. You use an immutable variable followed by a mutable variable so that you can change 1 but have the initial stored. Just follow the guide and you'll see the pin updates even though you aren't using "pin" on the OnChange event.
@@DarwinTutorials of course, but I did some research and found out that I should enable the billing account on my gcp account, since the autosuggestion works only on the account that have activated billing accounts
@@DarwinTutorials well in fact I did't activate my billing account, but instead I managed to create searchbar that has the same functionnalty but using HERE Map API since it is free, so basically I've made a searchbar located at the top of the map and when ever you write some thing it loads suggesstions for places by calling the API
@@DarwinTutorials one question, I tried for google places. But tried with a debit card for billing account creation. And my API is not working. Is that mandatory to use credit card for that.
