Jotunn can do the same thing. I can't tell you how many times iv been left mind blown when I see my jotunn loaf about to toast a face and blam it blows up mid air and I get cleaned up by a quick second shot... if you are REALLY good you can deflect damn near anything with solid projectile weapons (rockets, GLs, grenades, thrown hammer/knife/warlock void orb melee), basically anything that's not a hit trace round like most bullets and has its own physical "hitbox" so to speak. The timing, latency and sheer stupid luck need to pull it off on the regular is astronomically insane but it is possible.
And as stated that was one of his weakest performances we have got to see in Spicy Clips. I'm almost scared to see what he could do if you could get the unlimited scorch cannon outside of Team Scorched. (edit: typo)
Spiciest thing I ever did was during the Grasps of Avarice sparrow run, all within a matter of seconds: Clock's ticking on the last mine and I line up my sparrow for the jump cannon (Metropolitan Speeder, very pointy), only to skewer the edge and get stuck. The cannon fires and pulls the back of my speeder into it sending me into an uncontrolled tumble through the air, just barely making it across the gap. My speeder hits the ground nose-first facing sideways at a sharp angle. Too concerned about making it in time, I hit boost and it sends the speeder into a cartwheel in the correct direction. Two flips in the speeder slams down, perfectly upright and I speed towards the mine with a slight drift to the end with a final second or two to spare. TL;DR my speeder barely made it with three perfect collisions in a row. Second spiciest thing was on The Glassway in the section of floating vex structures over a radiolarian lake, a champion captain hangs out near the right side edge, and a teammate pulled off a finisher, sending its body flying off the edge into the abyss with such velocity and grace like an Olympic diver was shot out of a cannon. There are of course honorable mentions: Barely winning an Iron Banner match by entering an enemy bubble shield and knifing two Guardians while everyone including yourself is blinded, or quick falling onto a capture point with the enemy on it and using a vortex-frame sword to instantly kill multiple guardians in a 360º arc, or just lucky moments like throwing a knife and happen to headshot an invisible Marauder.
Had that perpetual death loop glitch happen to me during my first run of Leviathan the week it came out. Our group killed the last of the War Beasts during the Pleasure Gardens encounter the exact second the wipe mechanic happened. We were stuck there laughing for ages.

Team scorched is proof that Tribes is a God-Tier FPS design Paradigm and the fact that literally not a single company ever has even tried ripping off the mechanics is frankly astonishing. US court even made it so awhile ago that mechanics cannot be copyrighted- only names and themes and art and stuff. It's 100% legal to basically make a game clone as long as you're not stealing assets or using their naming conventions.

3:17 clip, this happened to me once, but in last wish. What happened with my group, is we ran out of time, and wiped right as we completed the encounter. So the wipe mechanic went through, killing all of us. But, because we cleared the encounter, there was no darkness fading. So you can revive, but the wipe mechanic has still triggered, and so the game just kills you. How we got around it was someone left to orbit and rejoined, allowing all of us to rejoin up on them.
I've had what happened in the second clip, happen to me, basically someone died and right as the revive timer ran out we killed the boss and that happened.

Unfortunately, I do not have the clip of the exact moment, but i remember that once, during a match of apex, I landed super fast, grabbed a random charged rifle I found and tried shooting down a diamond that was basically on the other side of the map mid flight AND ACTUALLY HIT HIM.
I'm curious if you have a "Hall of Fame" for the clips that are just absolutely stellar, that get your 10s, that make your jaws drop. I think that would be cool so people could see them without having to search through the clips
16:57 not only destiny (1) but on Xbox with the really old app on Xbox upload studio, one it’s been taken outta Microsoft stuff for years and I can tell because I tried using it once and that end was a closings effect, breaking glass and showing the profile pic on Xbox. Edit actually hmmm 🤔 idk it’s upload studio but the pic… hmmm it’s either pc or a custom pic coded into the files, it was so hard to do in the past.
So, my understanding with the knife thing is that it's actually NOT a tracking thing, but an animation/registry desync. The game registers that your knife hit but the animation doesn't match it, so the knife loops back around to inflict the hit. It's not a case of Hunter knives having absurd tracking, but more Bungie's spaghetti code. There were instances of this happening in Halo as well, where you'd fire a rocket at a flying enemy and the rocket wouldn't hit but the game would register it as a hit, so the rocket would loop around.
