Yup. Generalized Anxiety Disorder here, with a side order of depression. Biggest thing I've learned over the years is that my brain is constantly telling me lies ... but, it gets easy to recognize when it is doing it. Still extraordinarily hard to do anything about it, but once you've identified a lie, that tells you where you need to ignore your brain and Do The Thing, secure in the knowledge that your brain is full of crap, so to speak. Still always hard to deal with the really hard times, what with the elephant sitting on your chest making it hard to breathe or think, but ... it is possible to recognize that the elephant isn't real and relegate it to just 'really annoyingly uncomfortable' rather than 'oh my god I'm about to die'. Really, really sorry to hear you've been struggling. Just want to give you a hug :) But, take it from years of experience ... it does get easier to deal with. Never a big ball of fun and adventure, but easier. Really, really happy to hear you're out from under. Hopefully helping others with their issues will give you a new perspective on your own. And, really nice reaction, as usual :)

You're reactions are as brutally open and honest about things most people are too scared to bring up as Nate's music and honestly as someone who suffers so many ways from so many different things being able to see such honesty from Nate and you in one video is very therapeutic and helpful and a good reminder that people like us are not alone even if we feel like we are...it is nice to know the outcasts like us can band together and in that find people who understand what so many "normal" people miss our ignore or some other stupid thing...people like us really only have eachother and what you do helps thousands so thank you..

Always enjoy your NF reactions, as someone who lives with anxiety and depression on a daily basis I would highly recommend listening to Nathans The Search album start to finish. I bought tickets to his concert right after I saw this video!! Always like his songs but looked into his older songs after hearing The Search. Both of my daughters have mental health issues and it’s a hard life to live because it’s always going to be a challenge. Keep fighting girl!!! Because I suffer from DP/DR, GAD, Depression and PTSD too (10 years now). And I always wanna say something uplifting and hopeful, but at the end of the day, it never helped me to hear something uplifting. It just gave me hope in the beginning, but all those hopes were crushed again and again. But being negative doesn't help either. So I'm lost (for now at least).....like so many others. But I'm happy I stumbled over your video today. definitely gonna check out your other stuff and you got a new sub. :) And I'm happy that you are out of the worst, and I really hope you will stay out of it and get better! :). So I’ve been a silent subscriber for a minute (while), I obviously found you from a reaction to NF. Me personally, I saw something in you that I felt compelled to stick with and subscribe. Then you started opening up about depression anxiety and etc and I knew why I stuck around. Someone gets it. I too struggle with these things but I love to create. So I made a RU-vid channel to do both. (This isn’t self promotion this is a story) I made this channel so show people that although I suffer through things that I can still create things that I enjoy and me happy and hopefully make others happy and to accomplish the ultimate goal of making people do what I’m doing. I’m a huge NF fan and he’s inspired me along with others to create things that are real and personal. So I understand where you are coming from. I’m not huge but I am a person with emotions and feelings and I get how you feel even if you aren’t (completely) up front about what is going on. I can see it. But point is is your not alone, if I can understand then I’m sure others do as well and that you have fans. Just hang in there and make things that you feel happy with but understand that we can’t make things as perfect as we like. It’s trial and error and I can’t wait to see what you post. And if somehow you read this far and interested in seeing something from another depressed person 😂 then check it out but I don’t expect it. I’m just here to comment my message hang in there ❤️

I too suffer from Clinical Depression, and I thought Addiction was tough..... Talk about a rude awakening, I've always said that I learn the quickest through experience, but DAYUM..... I'm sorry to hear about your depression. Shit sucks. I like how your reaction was unedited and just your *actual* reaction. A couple songs you should check out are Kitchen Sink, Car Radio, Holding On To You or Migraine by Twenty One Pilots. I think you'll find them relatable as well, and they're known for "saving" people struggling with depression. I'ts obviously not that easy, but it might help for a while. Anyways I'm subscribed and look forward to future content.

I’m new to the react world but you’ve become my favorite. I enjoy how you watch all the way through and give the music your full attention and use your physical reaction and emotions. Once the music is over, you give your vocal reaction. Nothing more annoying than reactors that either talk through the song or talk every two seconds. More reactors should follow your method.
