This song is meant to be rude. It's kind of a rebellion anthem for Japanese youth rebelling against the strict conservative culture of the Japanese adult world. I read it was resonating heavily with the teen audience and got quite a number of "concerned" parents complaining. (Where have we heard that one before? LOL!) I don't know if you noticed it, but this video (as of now) has been viewed over 125M times and there are dozens (if not hundreds) of major covers of this song on both YT and Billibilli.

you're right, parents went crazy because there were a lot of very young kids singing the chorus everywhere, which is the heaviest part of the lyrics lol but it's more because being respectful and using the formal/polite vocabulary is part of the Japanese culture, and just saying "usseewa" like this can be very rude so parents started complaining about it

"Usseewa" is a vulgar way of saying "Urusaidesu" literally meaning "You are noisy" or "Shut up" in Japanese It's a word usually used by delinquent teenagers This song got controversial in Japan because the lyrics sound too offensive to adults and many kids imitated and shouted "Usseewa" No one criticizes it now knowing what an amazing singer Ado is

USSEEWA was launched in October 2020 and was ranked first overall on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 on March 15, 2021. Ado is 18 years old and just graduated from HighSchool, she said on twitter. No one knows who she is and there is no picture of her.

Remeber this is a song- singers sing songs not about themselves constantly! I seriously doubt a highschooler pours herself shots and checks the stock market on the way to work. She is singing for the younger disolutioned generation maybe- but who knows to what extent the words apply to her?
