Asian languages are actually different from each other. Like you can’t be Chinese and understand an entire Korean conversation. And the format for Korean sentences is like the opposite of English, which makes it very different from the construction of Japanese sentences. Like how I’ve heard that Filipinos are able to slightly understand Spanish conversations. You can’t really do that with Asian languages I recommend Blackpink Journey and Friendship RU-vid documentary for more insight into the girl’s close relationship and then their individual documentaries on RU-vid for their individual personal struggles. Lisa’s documentary especially made me cry lmao.

I am Thai and I want to tell you that Asian languages are all different. But there are Thai and Lao language that are very similar and are written very similarly. In the northeastern part of Thailand, they speak the Lao language at all. But in Thailand it is called Isan language. And I can say that Thai, Korean, Chinese, Japanese are very different since the writing and pronunciation but have some words that have the same pronunciation and meaning. I studied Korean for 3 years and it's still very difficult for me because there is nothing like Thai at all.

Asian languages are very different from each other and there are tons of them. I am from India. And we have 22 official languages. And 1300+ dialects. We don't have one specific language. In our country each state/province speak different language which is completely different from each other. And Tamil (one of the Indian language) is actually the oldest language in the world which dates back to 600 BCE.

My bias queen Jennie I know K-pop since 2011 and I like it in many groups, but there is something different about this girl She got my attention before debuting. I became a fan of Black Pink because of her, she's really talented and there's something different about her.😍👑 I used to see girl groups but I wasn't a fan too much, but when I saw the debut of Black Pink and saw Jennie rap in boombayah and whistle I was shocked! How could this girl be so full of charisma and talent at the same time? When she raps I was shocked she is queen of rap but also her voice is perfect her dance is amazing I've never seen an idol girl like her so proud of her 🥺👑🔥

Jennie's confidence and stage presence is out of this world and at the same time she's the shyest member and the only introvert of the group

I love them all so much, but JENNIE really stands out to me the most, since the very first time I saw them. She has SO MUCH charisma and stage presence! And she has this "quiet confidence" that is very attractive. She "commands attention" without having to do much, it's just the way she carries herself. Also, she's a damn great vocalist and rapper, it doesn't surprise me people refer to her as "an ACE". Not to mention how bloody beautiful she is! Girly is gorgeous! Her face is so pretty.

If you really want to know a bit about their relationships, you should check out the journey and friendship video, it's really sweet and you can kind of get how they became blackpink up until 2019, so a bit outdated, but still so good and I think it's shows a bit better than the docu on netflix, but that is a good watch too

Japanese, Chinese, Korean are all very different. There are a few crossover words because of shared histories, but different grammar, writing systems, etc. European equivalents would be like English, Italian and Russian.

I am OT4 all the way, I love all these ladies equally for different reasons and cannot pick a bias. Jisoo is a true beauty, EVERYBODY who has met her in person says it, every time. Some people are just speechless, literally struck dumb by her beauty. And that look she gives the camera when she is serious? I would HATE for her to ever be angry in my general direction. She's a devastator no matter what, just by walking into a room. THANK GOD she is a sweet and kind person or the world would already have burnt down.

Asian languages are really different from each other. mostly in asian countries, it is pretty normal to know at least 3 laguages/dialect

I got pretty excited to see you reacting to this guide. It’s one of my favorites. If you want to get into how they were formed Blackpink Journey and Friendship would be a great one to check out. I know I’ve recommended them already but just in case, Forever Young and Don’t Know What To Do are great dance practices to watch cuz there are no mvs and the choreo is dope. Btw, not saying you should rush by any stretch but I wouldn’t worry too much about there not being much of a discography. The discography is limited compared to other groups but it’s all quality and though they don’t quite as many tracks as we’d like there’s still a pretty fair amount of content. Reality shows(Blackpink House, Blackpink Diaries, 24/365) variety shows(Weekly Idol, idol Room, Knowing Brothers etc) vlives, and their own RU-vid channels. Just sayin, I think there is plenty if you’re doing the deep dive and I may be biased but I’m pretty confident the more you watch the more you learn and the more you stan them. NO .... A language is a language and a dialect is a different way to speak the same language. So when Lisa is speaking languages :- Thai Japanese ,Chinese, Korean and English , she is speaking different languages not dialects. In india almost all people which means 18% population of the world speaks at least 2 languages. Also asia has many many many languages with 1000 times more dialects. I am an Indian and in India there are 22 official languages with more than 1500 languages and over 30,000 dialects.

I might be wrong, but according to my Korean wife, most Asian languages derive from a form of Chinese.

If you love Rosés angelic voice, you should watch her solo song MVs (On the Ground & Gone), but make sure to also check out the solos of Lisa and Jennie as well. Sadly, we didn’t get a solo from Jisoo yet, but she recently made her acting debut in “Snowdrop”.

Korean language is different but Japanese and Chinese have may similar characteristics, so it’s easier if you are Chinese learning Japanese. Thai languages is more complicate as so many n more characters. Lisa must be someone who got talented about languages for she has been living in Korea for so long that makes her speak Korean fluently. Jisoo even tease Lisa one time that Lisa’s Thai speaking is better than before.

From Thailand; About Asians languages; I think the Korean, Japanese & Chinese alphabets are similar but they pronounce it differently, it's probably base on Chinese. But for Thai, our language is completely different from the other both alphabets and speech the closest language to ours is Lao, our neighbor, l can understand them but not every words.

Jennie is totally a badass!! And WE LOVE HER!!! for it. In any given concert, Jennie will throw looks out into the audience so diabolically icey that they could cut thru solid steel!! Asian languages might sounds similar but they are WAAAYY different from each other. And what's making it more difficult is that you have to study the characters too cause they're not alphabet 😢

I’m just watching this now but OMG Rosé’s voice remind me of Avril Lavigne’s too. The tone is quite similar but Rosé can hit higher notes and uses vibrato more often, you are the first person I heard noticing this and I was so excited someone shared my thoughts tho 😂

I do some self study in japanese and korean language. as of now, i can read and write the korean alphabet, as for japanese, im good with writing and pronouncing 2 of their 3 writing systems, which are hiragana and katakana, the 3rd is kanji, and i have no knowledge about it so far. I have not yet started studying sentence structure and learning some vocabulary. so based on these, i can say that Asian languages are sooo diff from each other. altho some have influences from other languages, there's not many overlaps and some of the words, in terms of pronunciation and writing are a bit different from the original. im filipino btw, and very fluent in english lol.

Asian here from Pakistan. Not all Asian languages are similar. Like it depends on what part of Asia ur talking about. East Asia (Japan, North & South Korea, China) have similar languages and writing system not the same though. And Pakistan and India pretty have the same language since they used to be one country, but they don't have the same writing system. And then Pakistan has the same alphabet as the Arabic alphabet since its a Muslim country. So to answer ur question yes and no.

And that is not the only time that she had back to back flights between countries to attend a show or interview or conference. HER PASSION AND DETERMINATION We may not see it all but even the dance practices of the group and her solo performances she gives 100% effort. Other members said they would train from 12pm-12am, but lisa would stay up until 3-4am to train. She keep herself grounded--with the amount of fame she is getting right now from all over the world, she remains humble. She doesn't think of herself as a big celeb.
