So, Seele's thing in Honkai Impact is that she's in the same orphanage as Bronya, who was previously a child soldier that the orphanage director manage to subdue, the orphanage is part of a secret government organization that's build to fight off this universe-destroying energy dubbed the "Honkai" which has Herrschers as their "generals" (Great disasters caused by the awakening of Herrschers are called "Honkai Impacts" and the game's story starts by revolving around the third one). She also has a second personality the community dubbed "Veliona", think of them kinda like Bruce Banner and The Hulk To fight off the Honkai, the orphanage does some research which involves quantum physics and psychic phenomena, one test goes incredibly wrong and the subject, Seele, is now trapped in the Sea of Quanta, which is basically this existence around the universe that's slowly dissolves everything into itself. Bronya eventually dove into the Sea of Quanta to reclaim the core of a Herrscher that fought for humanity and uses its power to help her save Seele, which is where the animation happens
To answer your one question, They are very connected. At 25:58 you can see Himeko's sword break, and later on in star rail you can find the broken fragments of it in Herta's curio collection. And if you interact with it using star rail Himeko, you get bonus dialog. However it's not the same Himeko. The honkaiverse is basically one big universe, that acts more like a multiverse. Every individual world is within its own unique spacetime, thus we have like 5 different bronya's. We have 2 that are playable in star rail alone in both bronya rand and silverwolf. So the Himeko here is different from the Himeko in star rail, though they do have similar personality and "tend to share the same fate" whatever that means. Plus we have 2 confirmed characters that have come directly from HI3 into star rail and are the same character. Including Welt. And since you asked about the dates, honkai impact starts in the year 2016, while star rail is around the year 2035ish (we don't have the specifics, it's just speculated to be a few years after 2029 which is the confirmed date for when welt discovered the existence of star rail Himeko) Also your playlist isn't really a good one. It's a bit out of order and missing a good number of them. But it is very big spoilers if you do actually want to play it at some point. And finally, there aren't any dedicated "character demos" like in mihoyo's other games. But rather all the character's gameplay is mixed in with the version trailers. so very bare bone about HI3 , there is this thing call honkai and it want to destroy humanity so there are multiple faction want to fight it but they all have their own methods. So sometime you fight honkai and sometime you fight other faction Indeed heartfelt

@@ItsJerada Just remember you're playing THE first of its kind mobile game initially. Storywise the game had some gameplay stages updates for the beginning section but you're pretty much going into a game how it was all the way back in 2016. You'll expirience how they change with each chapter when the money starts pouring in.

Also to clear up some of the lore confusion i highly recommend checking out the "Honkai Chronicles" playlist on HI3's official yt channel, where they explain the core concepts of the hi3 universe and the lore of the main characters. These vids are really interesting and while they don't explain EVERYTHING (as there is just straight up too much hi3 lore), they are pretty good for basic understanding. That's cause Kiana is her own character. In other hoyo games like genshin and star rail they are tied down by self insert MC like Aether/Lumine and Stelle/Caelus. Kiana is her own character she doesn't represent as us, which is the "players" that plays the game
Hoyo tends to reuse some characters throughout games. Kiana, mei, bronya, himeko, theresa and seele were all characters in their earliest gacha game, GGZ. HI3rd took most of them and gave them all a different story. All of their other games have basically have reused little bits of these characters. The most popular one is probably ei from genshin. Who is an export of raiden mei from HI3rd and ggz. Same with HSR's himeko, bronya, silver wolf, seele, cocolia, natasha, luocha(otto), welt etc. Seele in hsr actually looks identical to post timeskip seele from ggz. Even venti is literally genderbent wendy, and hsr welt is canonically confirmed to be hi3rd's welt, and he references this in his dialogue and in luocha's quest Also, this game has a great story. There arent really any set villians for the most part. Just ppl doing whatever they can do do what they wanna do. HI3rd takes place before HSR but they arent direct sequels. Think of them as separate stories taking place in different places and at different times to different people in the same universe (except welt lol). But to understand welt, what he's gone through and what he can really do u need to dive into the lore of HI3rd
Since you liked the soundtracks, I recommend watching the concerts. There are 3 at the moment, but you should probably watch the PV trailers first since at least half of the songs in the concerts are from those trailers (character themes). Great reaction btw!
So, in Honkai the humans build mechs and the Honkai have beasts. Even they Dragon is just a REALLY big honkai beast. I would recommend turning the b subtitles.
For the Kiana vs Mei fight. Kiana would be willing to sacrifice herself to save the world. But Mei is willing to sacrifice the world to save Kiana. She wasn't willing to let Kiana die to protect the world, so she decided to join a somewhat evil organization, because it was the only way to save Kiana's life. And ofc, Kiana wasn't gonna let her best friend do that. So they had a falling out, but they still care deeply for each other
In final lesson, indeed she's Himeko From the star rail, there is broken blade, and if you interact it with himeko char, there is different monolog about it. So, we are captains who played honkai impact, when playin star rail, is kinda nostalgic and sad at the same time, knowing himeko is dead in honkai impact. It happens when shes getting out of hyperion (their spaceship). So next patch, if we see Himeko gettin out from the train of star rail, i cant imagine how heavy that burden is. P.S : seems like seele got red eyes in star rail while in impact she has blue eyes
Idk if you already know this Info or not (your comment doesn't give an Indication that you know), but Star Rail Himeko and Impact 3rd Himeko are Not the same person. Also, Star Rail Seele has Purple Eyes and it turns Red in her Ultimate just to Reference The other Seele (the Red Seele) meanwhile Impact 3rd Seele has Blue Eyes and has the Other Seele Within her through the Herrscher of Death Stigmata.
All the context is in the game. the animations are endings to arcs in the story. Also there were subtitles in the 2nd one you watched, you just needed to turn them on. Theres a video called intro to the Honkaiverse which is a good start point if you want to know the basic pre-history. Otherwise if you don't care about playing the game to get the full story, there are a few chronicles videos that do recaps of everything.
All Honkai Titles are related to each other at some point. GGZ/Honkai Gakuen 2, Honkai Impact 3 and Honkai Starrail. Specially HI3 and HSR. Since Welt and Void Archive are originally from HI3.think of it as Marvel and DC with their Multiverse

Star Rail is in the future, but maybe by like 10-20ish years? About 8 years after the end of Hi3's Part 1, Welt Yang leaves the planet to find Star Rail's Himeko, and HSR starts up some time after that

All I can say is that they encourage it more just to attract people to be more interested in playing the game just by watching their videos (and reaction videos as well!!) And every song that is in this game is just PHENOMENAL. Every song they produce is absolute banger to listen to.
so like you have 80+ battlesuits to play in this game, around 30 characters that have different gameplay depending fighting outfit they have, which usually represents how they look at that current time, you dont even have to gacha at all to play the story since they give trial character chapter 5 onwards

Lament of the Fallen is very sad. (Spoilers ahead) Kiana and Mei love each other (as friends or lovers, it's up to your interpretation. Although it's very clear that Kiana is attracted to Mei) because of the strain her powers have on her body, Kiana is dying (she has only couple of moths to live). Mei was contacted by the World Serpent (terrorist organization that planted the Honkai bomb in "Meteoric Salvation") and they said that she can remove some strain from Kiana by unlocking her own powers and if she joins them, in the end they'll save Kiana and they will live "happily ever after". Desperate, Mei agrees, but Kiana doesn't want her to go with the terrorists, so she fights Mei to make her stay
Just gonna say this are incomplete (there are even small like short animation you might have missed) and that you can use captions for subtitles cause there are some that Don't have it in their animations, also all of these are cutscenes ingame so if your wondering "why is it not giving all the context? Who's the enemy? Who plant the bomb? " well... I mean would you even play the game if all the context is in the animation? So you should play the game to know more 😂😂. Also if you want to know some of the characters lore there are honkai chronicles you can watch at official yt channel, also try reacting to who is welt by homu labs and the theresa theme song you might like it. All i could say is HSR take part in somewhere else in the universe and in impact 3rd is take part in milky way around ~500 billion years before [mar catastrophe] and until (can't really remember) year ~2027 [a post honkai odyssey]

Lose the habit. Gotta understand you are getting hardly any actual information from these cutscenes. These are crescendo moments and you’re seeing them out of context. They put them on the game’s channel as a way to hook you. Also, out of the ones you watched here, only Reburn was really a trailer, and more of a concept movie at that. All those other ones you’ll actually see in the game.

Why don't you turn on the English subtitles? They're obviously in the lower right corner.I think you should read the character story first before watching the animation, otherwise you won’t know who the character’s name is in the animation.
