@@herdoman5169 Remove Cooking in Another World and I have no problems agreeing. While it is wholesome I guess and watching food being made in animation is somehow... tasteful... nothing much is really happening. Probably the most underrated of all anime this year is Summer Time Render or Summertime Rendering, also Fire Hunter might turn out great, but it has to prove itself first.
Now you understand the ratio of releases to recommendable anime. Also, some anime have banger OPs but the anime itself is mid at best, sad story. Many are enjoyable to kill time. On that note, its the obscure anime that few people recommend that are truly gems. Death billiards was unknown until death parade came out. Gundam thunderbolt is another hidden gem, as are many anime movies that most people dont get to see outside of the US. Good news is that youre new to anime so you got a long list of good stuff to watch before you run out of quality content. Hats off for soldiering through the entire anime season OPs.
21:13 Trigun Stampede is a remake(dunno if i really should call it so though) of one of the most OG Anime of the late 90's Trigun they changed the MC "Vash" 's wild hairstyle from the original anime he had a more badass vibe on that one from a first look
The OG Trigun opening is a banger too. Really fun rock based song! Also, I would call Stampede a retellig or reimagining. It's different from both the late 90s anime as well as the manga. The director stated that they were inspired by the MCU and how they do retellings instead of direct adaptations of source materials.
The OP for The Ice Guy, Buddy Daddies, High Card, and The Fire Hunter are all unskippable. So good! Also really like the OP for Campire Cooking, Saving 80000 Gold, and The Angel Next Door Spoil Me Rotten
The Tale Of Outcasts OP made me emotional as hell, being a manga reader. XD Beauty and The Beast could be one way to look at it. It's about humans making pacts with demons, giving up a part of themselves. Our main girl wanted freedom. Vinland Saga season 2 is very sad so far, but it's only because Thorfinn can't find his reason to keep living. Yet- I wish you got to see the opening in the trailer. When Einar says "Don't you dare tell me you want to die!" then the music comes in, CHILLS! You saying Lum isn't real made me laugh. She's definitely real alright. She's an alien, that's why she can float and use electricity.
Bofuri is basically dive into a VR game (Like SAO) but they just simply play in it The main char Girl has extremely Luck that have high rate of encounter Rare quest, Rare Skill and combine it into something Extreme Broken Yet the series is pretty fun, it 1 of the best series in 2020 and now they comeback in ss2 in 2023
Yeah it’s pretty fun, like when you just got back from your day tired, watching bofuri will always lift up my mood and fill some happiness in my heart.
Sugar Apple Fairytale is giving me serious Ascendance of a Bookworm / Ranking of Kings vibes "Oh look at this cute name for an anime, and cute story, in a nice world, that's all sweet....." Meanwhile it shows glimpses of a really f'd up world behind the veil of a world that seems "sweet" because it's shown through the eyes of naivety Been watching it so far in hopes that this is the case. We'll see Edit: Also, just because something's fantasy, doesn't make it isekai. Getting so f-in tired of that assumption. Ningen Fushin isn't an isekai
I know this is a year and a half late and this channel isn't active anymore, but Kubo is the girl, not the guy. _She's_ the one not letting _him_ be invisible, hence why you see her pursuing him throughout the OP.
31:10 The contrast between these two shows is hilarious. "Inukai's Dog" is on of the trashiest show in existence and "Angel Next Door" is the most wholesome anime of the season.
@Hidetaka Miyazaki If that means I don't spend my days watching every That Time I Reincarnated As a Sauerkraut Specialist in a Dungeon episode that comes out then yes I am
51:25 yes there is indeed Isekai anime where women transport into another world , but because they are often not "shonen" anime , a lot of guys don't seem to give them a chance. actually one of my favorite isekai's is "The ascendance of a bookworm" which is a isekai with a female lead.
Everyone should watch Kaina of the Great Snow Sea. Loads of people dropped because it's cg, but the story is goated It's pretty damn unique in its premise, ignore the MAL score, as you always should do so early on in a season (Deca Dence had a tanked MAL score at the start of its season, and that show was great too. But people were too stupid to understand its twist and dropped under misunderstanding)
Onimai opening is so catchy and the anime is super fun and cute but i cant even recommend it because of the loli fanservice but everything else is so good damn 💀
it's a fun show , and well , the loli fanservice kinda gest a pass cause he's actually a grown-man. and even then its anime so it helps not seeing them as real people.
I was expecting to see you notice the references in the urusei yatsura opening, but you didnt notice about it :/ They were references to the opening from the 80's :/
The Stampede show doesn't have the western feel or any action anymore. I don't like it. It definitely fits the more emo styled show but it just doesn't feel like a space western anymore. Regardless, still nice to see some genre variety with the music this season.
My Hero OP is the most overrated Just because of Eve,Bokura No isn't really that good Eve is also overrated af,FIVE NEW OLD deserve more recognition rather than Eve
