boss slater nakakatawa ka nung narealize mo you are geeking out.. hahaha.. pero nakakabitin.. gusto ko pa sana madinig yung iba mong sasabihin on how steel works on highrise.. yun nga lang mukhang kukulangin na sa oras.... hahahaha
Don't be so conscious in geeking out Sir Slater. This is a great lesson for us who are not architects nor engineers. Learning new things is always fascinating. :)
The way Slater comments and gives feedback is just proof how great of a boss or co-worker he is. He doesn't criticize and instead makes suggestions. He also never fails to give compliments that boost morale of employees.
Slater: “Today we are going to talk about our favorite Architect...” Me: And you are our favorite Engineer! We will eagerly wait for our favorite Architect and Engineer Duo’s Collab!
Yung mga tinuturo nila arch oliver and engr slater di natin natututunan sa school pero i really think essential sya kasi tungkol sya sa bahay natin and our safety. Everyone should learn this. Thank you po for giving us content we need! 💛
@@kenzgraphics9782 studying , the concept and others to pass and to get that license and experience follows. It would be nicer if you passed. Everyone was once a beginner.
Yes !!
this is true. kahit sa architecture school, hindi lahat natuturo. matututunan mo nalang once you've experienced it yourself. kaya super thank you kila Architect Oliver and Engineer Slater sa pag share ng knowledge nila.
When sir slater says "i don't know if this is still interesting", I'd scream in my head "Yes poooo, thank you". This is very helpful gyud baaaa. Lamat kaau pirmi Sir!
Believe it or not mr. Slater this is very INTERESTING, HELPFUL and INFORMATIVE .. we love your content , we are focused in every single thing you say ..i personally am having fun and appreciate you eduacating us God bless you
Engr.’s vlogs are always fascinating for someone like me who has no background in construction. He knows his craft very well. The explanations are clear and concise. Good job. Same with architect. Collab please. It would be awesome 👏
P.S. don't hold back when sometimes nagiging technical na yung topic mo it makes it more interesting actually at napapagoogle din minsan to know more about new terms na nababanggit nyo! Hahahaa
Regarding dun sa pglilinis ng gutter. We can actually use a gutter guard to prevent foreign materials entering the storm drainage system. Low maintenance. going to the roof regularly is very dangerous. And for the adjustment of container van elevation for rising water level. We can use a motorized system for automatic elevation adjustment provided with sensor. When the sensor hit by water, the system will automatically adjust the elevation. Malunog kang tulog.hehe We can also use solar panels as source of power. Another is to incorporate MEP design for comfort living. Cheers!
Woah nanunuod ka din kay Slater hahaha. First time ko magreply sa comment ng kakilala ko dito sa RU-vid although nakita ko din comment mo kay Archi Oliver 😂
Why do i feel like i am in the middle of a conference sa VHRV. 😁😲🙄 Yung mga Riegos and Hidalgos sharing insights😁 Hahaha yung hindi ka naman engineering pero dahil mga babies mo engineers and architects feel mo relate na relate ka and buddy buddy mo rin si Sir Slater and Sir Oliver❤️😂
11:48 Don't worry Engr, as an aspiring C.E. myself, every educational input in your videos are very helpful and honestly quite interesting for me as a student.
Im really fascinated by your tandem! My brother is currently taking up engineering while i am taking up architecture and we can say that these type of videos are very informative not just in our field but for everyone as well. Actually, both of your videos caught our interests more than online schooling lol we are really learning a lot. Thank you Ar. Oliver and Engr. Slater!
They make it so easy to understand. Entertaining pa especially si Architect. Hoping for a collab project. 🙏
Knowlege is power. Thank u for simplifying the technical aspects of house building in a tropical setting. Definitely helps in our future house construction.
My kind of influencers! teaching the public aswell as professionals that collaboration between architects, engineers and client is a must! nakakatuwang panuorin mga interactions nilang dalawa regarding their ideas to improve the overall design and strength ng isang project
Reason why I love Oliver is he give so much effort not only for content but to educate us about houses ❤ not an engineer/archi student but I really enjoyed his and Slater's video. kudos!!!!!
ganto maging influencer.. salute engr. slater and arch. oliver for all information na shina-share niyo sa mga pangkaraniwan na tulad namin at sa lahat ng walang idea sa process ng industry na to. :)
I just love how these two geeks about the little details. I love both of your videos it's entertaining at the same time educational. I'm not even in the engineering field and yet I just find it sooo interesting 🥺💕
I LOVE THE "GEEKY" INFORMATION!!! (as I am geeky myself when explaining my course (computer engineering) stuff as well) just goes to show how much you know and how passionate you are with your craft. I love this channel (Architect Austria's too)!!!
"I dont know if this is still interesting anymore" And here i am still watching engr. Slater because i wanna be an engineer as well listening to what he is saying
Kudos to u both!
our favorite engineer talking about our favorite architect, how cool is that? hopefully the collab will push thru, pa hebaw mo daan para kaandam kog popcorn ug sikwate 🤣
On your suggestion regarding the pedestal for the steel column, that is true. You'll need also to install an angle bar at least 2 sides of each pedestal to protect the corners from accidental car bump. To anchor the angle bar into the concrete there should be shear studs, welded to the angle bar and embedded into concrete pedestal.
These youtubers are two of just few contents I really find faacinating. I'd know I'm into a video when I actually finish it and appreciate every sec. Kudos engineer and architect!
Yes. I agree with your comment about the breaker. Pero It is also prudent to swith off the main swtich until you can confirm that only specific areas are affected, before deciding to switch on the other areas .
Engr. Slater Young and Arch. Oliver Austria best youtube channel to follow of the year when it comes to housing and construction. Super daming "AHA" moments on every content.
Slater haha! Loko lang! Magiging mabuting magkaibigan sila for sure! Im a fan of Slater since PBB kaya masaya ako na nagba-blog na sya. Di man sya napapanood sa TV atleast sa youtube. :) Stay Safe Engr!
Your not boring Engr. Slater. Just be confident. Medyo shy pa si sir Slater. Enjoy kami sa videos mo sir. Kudos in commenting Architect Oliver's typhoon shipping container. Mas na-iimprove yung proposed project. Nice tandem kung sakali. God bless you both
Engineer Slater, please don't hold back when you're geeking out. I'm a civil engg' student and I find it interesting. We also learn new infos that haven't taught in school.
I’m a structural design engineer and seeing Slater give exposure to the NSCP and discussing dead and live loads make me proud haha. Great content as always. 💯
don't usually put comments when watching videos. Being an engr myself and not practicing my profession for quite some time since having kids. I am really entertained and para kong nagrerefresher course. I miss working on field again. Naaliw ako sa mga terms used po. Siguro nga kasi lagi ko naririnig dati. Sana makita ko pa more tips on construction and maintenance. Nakakaaliw manood. Hindi siya boring para sakin ☺️
I love the idea of a tiny house.... concept of using shipping container.... weatherproof design p jd! So thankful of your inputs both from Arch and Engr. Keep my mind wandering around in actually building it in the future.
Sir, don't hesitate if nagiging technical masyado yung discussion mo. Doon nakakakuha ng learnings yung viewers. And I believed na-eexplain mo naman ng maayos para maintindihan ng karamihan. Kudos to you both mga sirs!
That is called lap rest. Yung difference in heights sa window sill. I also design tinyhouses, my thesis is also about shipping containers and earth domes. Grabe i am sooooooo satisfied by this video. Keep it up Engr. And Arch.
one thing you can do to address the gutter issue is to provide openable screen cover for the gutter. That will prevent the leaves from getting into the gutter or will minimize it.
To the person who is reading this: You’re amazing, stay blessed, stay safe and have a wonderful rest of your day. Wish all your dreams come true. God bless u all
A psychology major, supposed to do her STUFFS kasi finals na but here I am, watching architecture-engineering related video. Dami ko pong natutunan sa vlog nato! Very interesting and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to have my house, soon!!
How I wish architect Oliver and Engr. Slater both do a collaboration project with my dream shipping container house. For sure result will be awesome! I'm a fan. 😁
@@katftimbol Yeah. If she won't listen to a RU-vidr Professional like Oliver Austria, maybe she'll listen to a fellow mainstream celebrity with common background.
