When you think of all the atrocities humans make and you despair, remember that humans also do this.

I was sobbing! What a beautiful powerful story and soul stirring music. Just wow.

Every parent's nightmare, to lose a child. To not see potential realised. The music was, indeed, stunning, perfect. Only one word sung, just the right one.

Beautiful reaction my friend :-) This piece has so much in common with Susanne Sundfør's "When The Lord". At least they both have me sobbing every time. Our world really needs music like this. Music that makes us reflect and appreciate life itself, which sadly, so many of us take for granted. Life is anything BUT granted and is something that WILL COME TO AND END, sometimes sooner than later. Sofia and Lene Marie Fossen are examples of that. You out there that still have your parents alive, give them a call tonight before you go to bed. They might not be there tomorrow. Love from Norway.

I'm quite glad I'd heard Aurora's song The River so many times....because boy did the advice of that song come in handy watching this music video, if you can even call it that. I was weeping pretty hard by the end....and I hadn't cried in a very long time, at least a year. I've felt....numb. Crying felt _so_ good, cleansing. But...the fact life can be _so_ painful, cruel, and pointless....is just very difficult to bear mentally for me. I don't believe in any afterlife. It _might_ exist....but I can't assume it does. And even if it did...I've never heard a version of any afterlife that wasn't actually a description of hell if you actually thought about it. Life is just very painful sometimes. And for some people....it's _nothing but_ pain, and then they die, sometimes very young. That.....just sucks. A lot. And knowing there's no remedy to that, and never will be, is a lot to process.... Life, am I right? Can't live with it....can't live without it? Something like that.... :P

I've been paralyzed with grief since my mom suddenly died just 7 months after her cancer diagnosis. They told us the treatments would work. But it was already all over her body and brain. I'm just telling you about it because I'm not making the most out of each day, even though I know tomorrow isn't promised. Partly because of covid happening right after she died. Partly because I'm afraid... afraid that I might get cancer too and I'm afraid of getting covid.

I thought I heard on Instagram that Sofia chose Iris and Aurora to do this and she did actually get to see before she died. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that one. I thought that was pretty great. How Beautiful.

It is so good to hear what you have to say, and I only get this chance because I only typically check Aurora's reactions and a very few others.......so that was great, and Life is certainly such a wonderful gift, so many tnings we'll meet in either a short or a long existance that are so worth of it all children should be out of the reach of cancer but then again we have to live with all of this and Life still is the greatest gift and we are still able to share, participate, and be part of this beautiful moment we call Life

Because I sincerey appreciate your reaction on Aurora, Wardruna, Eivor and other nordic singers: Can I suggest a one generation back an important Norwegian singer (also west Norway :-) with fenomenal vocals: Sissel Kyrkjebö (and what a tongue twister for you). Many of her best songs are religious but not all. Hi Adam, I am one of your subs and don't normally spam your comments with a personal song that only I like. That being said Pentatinox has released a new video a few weeks ago, "90's Dance Medley" . I am certain that you should do a reaction on it as I am sure you grew up with this music.
