REACTING TO ASTRO FOR THE FIRST TIME pt. 2 (knock, bad idea, one, after midnight) 

it's impossible not to love jinjin. everyone loves him, even if he's not their bias. he's just a cool guy.

“I sound like a crazy person, but I don’t care… because I smell like jinjin” same… I’m sensing a new aroha here and I’m here for it.

This was actually a therapist concept. Moonbin is the therapist and sanha is the patient. This is actually connected to their previous song, knock. They were time travellers who travelled to a place where they could be happy forever at the end of knock but sanha ended up getting a bad memory. He says he's not happy and has bad dreams so moonbin works as his therapist to change his bad memories into happy ones. Sanha drinks something and passes out, waking up in the dream world. You can see sanha in distress when he was the room filled with fire (10:08). Moonbin tries pouring water to put out the fire and the fire in Sanha's room starts to get put out (10:15). Later on, you see moonbin blowing out the fire from the outside (11:05). Moonbin eventually drinks the drink to enter Sanha's dream because he realises that trying to help from the outside isn't working (11:23). There are 2 versions of sanha, the evil one and the normal one. The evil one is what is causing the bad dreams so moonbin starts looking for him in the dream world. When he finds sanha, he has already been taken over by the evil one (11:44). Meaning, he has been consumed by his bad dreams so moonbin tries to turn back time, to before the evil sanha existed. But while doing so, he is confronted by the evil sanha. They get into a fight and even though it looked like moonbin lost, he still smiled because he actually put something in the drink sanha drank in the beginning (12:47). The thing takes effect and the evil sanha is destroyed, allowing the real sanha to finally wake up from the nightmares. Some extra stuff that I didn't know where to put. At 12:13, there's a purifier(?). It was trying to purify the stuff in it but before it could, it was stopped. It represents moonbin being stopped by the evil sanha. After sanha drinks the drink, he passes out (9:01) with moonbin sitting opposite him. This is the real world. Sanha also passes out in the dream world (8:36), splitting into the 2 aforementioned versions. 9:20 is the dream world. The evil sanha is sitting in the background and the normal sanha enters the room where his dream body passed out (9:18). Their point dance (choreography during chorus) is also meant to emphasise this concept. Everyone loves Jinjin. Jinjin's the most patient, cute and responsible, to be able to take care of and raised 5 chaotic guys was insane!!! I'd loved to recommend to you their ballad songs, RUN, WATERFALL, GEMINI, LOVE WHEEL, AND MANY MORE their vocals sound like an angel, even I can't understand well the language, you'll feel the song hitting your hearts veins inside.

Oh my.. You fell for Jinjin's visual, what more if you got to know his personality, I'm sure you will love him! (kind-hearted leader ever) 😆💜

Sound and Visual Kings ASTRO is a group to stan that's for sure. More than being performance and stage geniuses, they put their personal stamp on their music as they participate more and more in creating them. If you're not already stanning them, you're missing half of your life so to speak.

It has no MV but you can search the presentation. The same with One & Only, where the 6 participated in part of the lyrics, and the composition is by JinJin ... it is also in Live presentation ... and many more songs: Call Out and 1 in a Million have ASTRO DDOCA Also ... Astro are basically known as 'Refreshing Idols' all over the industry and this is what they want their image to be! If you look carefully, they have this hint of Refreshing concept in each of their mvs..But still there is no genre and no concept tha Astro can't pull off which again gains them the title of 'Versatile Artists'! Astro themselves are the genre 🙌

For me, they are the best group! They have that unique relationship, more than blood brothers. They support, love, and care for one another and no jealousy!

Every high note is MJ.... pretty much no one in the group has that high of a vocal range, except maybe Sanha, but MJ does all the ad-libs. As others have said... their B-sides and ballads are also beautiful and some of them really show off Rocky's vocals as well.

Yay, more Astro reactions! And I love how honest you were with how you feel about each song! Yep, I remember not liking Blue Flame and Knock on my first listen, but then I found myself singing ay ya yay ying and Knock knock knocking to myself while I'm cleaning or washing the dishes lol I hope you do get to watch their dance practices! Their practices are always on point, it's crazy. Got two left feet, but I can tell they're such great dancers. A great dance practice to start would be Should've Held On/Again video which is the only title track they had that had only a dance practice and no MV (due to the infamous 2018 troubles their company had that year), then the Blue Flame, All Night, Crazy Sexy Cool special dance practices (special because they were close-ups and they were less serious in them), and for Knock, One and After Midnight, check out their suit dance practices and Studio Choom (only for One though).

JinJin has my heart too💜 I found it hard to pick a bias in Astro because they each have unique personalities, charms and talents. In ONE (album All Yours) Astro went mature darker and it was their 2nd full album dedicated to their fans, Aroha. Their Bsides still gave that Astro vibe and sound even though the title track was more mature. For After Midnight, this recent mini album was for Astro from Astro. Each member was involved one way or another in the songs whether it was as a lyricist or composer. It was a celebration of their past, present reflecting their growth as a brotherhood, as a band and partnership with Arohas. You mentioned in your part 1 reaction that u hoped they were not disbanding because u were just learning and enjoying them. They are actually doing great and are being recognized more than ever because of their uniqueness and just easy listening songs. It might’ve been mentioned already in the comments but they did come close to possibly disbanding back in 2018, due internal issues by the company. They were in hiatus for almost a year and couldn’t promote their album Rise Up in music shows and whatnot. So if you ever get a chance to watch their MV Always You, it is a soft spot for many Arohas because it’s about that time of uncertainty. They lost some fans during the hiatus but were thankful to those that stayed by their side and waited. Thus when they performed By Your Side (Bside in in the Rise Up album they couldn’t promote) it hits a raw spot. Here’s a link to that concert performance. 2021 was Astro’s year. One was saying Astro is one always, no matter where they are they will always share the spotlight together, and (Switch On Album) was a chance for each of the six members to work and write lyrics on each of the songs ie Footprint with lyrics by MoonBin and After midnight with eunwoo, waterfall by mj , don’t worry eunwoo and rocky, my zone jinjin sanha and rocky, and sunset sky Sanha, so switch on was astros past present and future. 👍🏽

Hi dearie! I enjoyed your reaction again. As everyone already pointed out things about Bad Idea, I'll go talk about some points you mentioned that I haven't seen anyone answered yet. If you backtracked their discography, you'd see repeating themes of them being separated from the one they love. There is always a barrier between them and their loves. As you progress to their MVs and their song themes, you'd see that they are slowly getting nearer to their loved ones, with ONE's lyrics starting with "We come as ONE". This symbolizes the fact that they are finally with the person they've been longing for. On Knock: The planets you saw represent the members and the 7th one in the center is the fandom. We are are always in their minds when they are making things. Also, the high notes in this song were sung by MJ. He mostly does the high notes(main vocal privilege😉), with the exception of when he needs to sing his verse, then either Rocky or Moonbin does that part. On One: These boys are actually just telling us the story of their friendship through the choreo, and moves that they have here (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8OnGOX-a1wY.html) actually signify about their undying support system and having each other's back. This is also the first time Eunwoo(read as UNO - as in Uno, Dos, Tres) bleached and dyed his hair. I read somewhere that he said that he thought because of his "face genius" status, he needed people to focus more on his skills other than his appearance and that the only time he'd bleach his hair would be when he thought his skills were enough for people to forget about his face. This was why he continued to improve himself and take several lessons in between his busy schedule. Seeing him with a lighter hair color hit different for Arohas because of the meaning behind it. This Era was also the first time that they're just free and for JIN-JIN and MOONBIN were literally free because of the styling... On After Midnight: For this Era, they are actually really the most playful. They also participated in composing and writing the entire 6 songs in this album. I hope you can give the whole album a listen. On the MV, the storyline is basically Eunwoo being tired at first (low battery), but Rocky and Jin-Jin were there to cheer him up and give him a boost. After spending time with their friends, they were recharged (as seen in Moonbin's full battery). Notes: Sanha is cute and he'll forever be the cute one in their group, so you are not alone in thinking that. A lot of Arohas bought that specific scent from that brand when they learned about Jin-Jin's preference for that one. It's not weird at all. It's just an Aroha thing. They also have refreshing + something as their concept for every comeback, so they are always that cheerful smiley angels, but ONE was definitely something new for them. You have to take into consideration that they started young and some members are not considered mature/adult just yet so they have to wait for the maknae to reach that age before they can advance their content to a more mature level. ASTRO rocks!😍

When I first encountered Astro earlier this yr, I've checked out all their title tracks and I likes all of it. However, when I checked their B side, I LOVE all of it as well. Especially Lie which I listened to every day. I love Jin Jin's rap in Lie. Since Lie is B side and I think they performed live once at their concert so you cannot get Lie live performance anywhere unless you purchased the vlive plus. And, I did. I really wants to watch Lie live and u know what, it is worth it. So, I recommended you to listen to all their B side as well. And, for dance practice, "Again" dance practice is what I will recommend. The synchronization is perfect!
