I think I understand what kind of song is for you, so I wold like to recommend Treasure (their second debut song), Answer and Inception. There are a lot of vocals.
In regards to not knowing what to say/how to react. Trust me, I get it. Sometimes you need to re-watch an ATEEZ video about 30 times to get all the details and to figure out how you feel. They're a very performatif group and most of their songs follow a storyline, so it's more like you're watching a scene from a movie and not a music video. The member in the brown trenchcoat in "Bouncy" who shot up the bar is Rapper Song Mingi. He tends to say "Fix On" before his raps and he usually gives off a badass energy. (Don't be fooled, most of these boys are soft babies no older than 5 yrs) The Ginger rapper in "Eternal Sunshine" is the same person who had blue braids and hit the desk to the beat in "Thanxx", Captain of the team Kim Hongjoong. He is the leader of the group and second eldest member. He's also the Bias Wrecker Extraordinaire, careful, he will absolutely have you in a chokehold at some point. The person you fell for at the end of "Eternal Sunshine" who kills us all with his lip bites and misbehaving tongue is Park Seonghwa, he's the eldest member and the most comforting. Atiny's call him the mom of the group but I honestly don't know if he's still ok with that. If you're looking for a subunit song, there's a few but they do have one with only Blue braid, desk smacking Captain Hongjoong and Cheeky Lip Bite Seonghwa called "MATZ" (which translates to "Eldest" as they are the oldest members) it's really good but it's also a rap song so I don't know how you'll like it. If you want other songs they have A LOT of bsides that are very emotional and fun too. Some of my faves, though there are too many to name here: "Promise", "Stay", "Twilight", "Dreamers", "Sunrise", "Be With You" are just a few (But there are actually SO MANY). You could also check out "Turbulence" and "Aurora" cause, yeah, just amazing. I would also say "Paradigm" cause I honestly love it so much, but you may not like it? Dunno, ppl have mixed reviews.

I recommend that you look at ofallthekennys's guide to get to know the members better. it is really good and complete but it lasts 1h40. And if you liked eternal sunshine I recommend "Wave", "Promise", "Turbulence" and "Utopia". If not I recommend "Firework" (i'm the one), "Cyberpunk", "From" (their predebut song), "Mist", "Dancing like butterfly wings", "Star 1117" (a song written for atiny (their fans)), and "Thanks you" (a song written by Hongjoong (the leader) for Seonghwa (the oldest) to thank him), they were both born in 1998 and are the two oldest. For all the songs except for "From" and "Firework" (which have an MV) I recommend that you watch the live performances.
The people I remember you mentionioning: Mingi (gi like geese, Meengee) - the cowboy who shot uo the bar. He did the rap at the beginning of Eternal Sunshine 10:11 and was the rapper in the purple shirt in Thanxx 18:11. Hongjoong (O like the letter name HOng, joong like June with an ending g)- their Captain, he was the blue-haired rapper who pounded on the desk in Thanxx 17:21 and the orange haired rapper in Eternal Sunshine. He was also the other cowboy in Bouncy with the blue hair and the goat 4:05. Seonghwa (Song Hwa) - was the one with the longer dark hair that did the lip bite. He was the sandy-blonde with in uniform and then in the Burberry collar in Thanxx 17:08 and the rapper with the motor bike in Bouncy 4:48. I'm happy you like Eternal Sunshine, their softer MVs often don't get as much love. ATEEZ actually has a lot of B-sides like that. It was interesting to me that you didn't like Bouncy, but did like the chorus because most of the people who don't like Bouncy are bothered by the parrot. The xx in Thanxx negates the gratitude, as in thanks but no thanks. The song is about ignoring authority figures who tell them they need to live a certain way and do things the way they did (because they loved music and wanted to dance). You mentioned the contrast between Bouncy and Eternal Sunshine. ATEEZ actually promoted that album with two very different songs: Eternal Sunshine and DejaVu. Next, I recommend Guerrilla (you may not love it since it's harder, but it shows how well they can do different genres), Dreamers (soft and summery), and DejaVu (so you can see how it's different - - I think you'll really like it).
thanks for the mv reactions! there are many aspects of kpop, i think you are more into the music videos. you said you are a movie fan right, you can see the influences- Bouncy (akira, the hateful eight), Eternal Sunshine (eternal sunshine of the spotless mind), Pirate King (one piece), Thanxx (mad max fury road) those are just some of the movies but honestly there are more, sometimes it's just the aesthetics and sometimes it goes well with their theme and message of the song. Some mvs might not have them as well, but you might be able to recognize if there were. you can just continue to talk about what you liked in the video, otherwise you would have to comment on their lyrics and the message they are trying to convey through the imagery, and might be overwhelmed about their lore and their concept as dimension traveling pirates (who at the recent might or might not have escaped the dystopian world where they started a rebellion against the government) 😀. Because they have an overarching storyline from debut song to the latest release, yeah. to be honest i also like when their costumes are appreciated because they eat the concepts no matter what it is (bright, dark, rebellious, etc). Aaaand they look like game characters. you liked Say My Name and Eternal Sunshine, you might like Wave, Utopia or Aurora. Honestly idk lol, you can just keep watching all their mvs, for discovering more of their music and how they reinvent all the time. i hope my long comment was at least coherent haha!
