Patintero, also known as tapatan in some parts of the Philippines, is a traditional Filipino street game. Here's a simplified version of the typical rules: 1. The game requires a rectangular grid drawn on the ground. This grid has one line in the middle and two or more perpendicular lines. 2. It's normally played between two teams - "attackers" and "defenders." 3. The defenders occupy the lines in the grid and try to tag the attackers as they attempt to cross the lines. The attackers' goal is to cross the grid without getting tagged. 4. The game employs strategy and swift movement. Running and quick changes in direction are commonly used. 5. Usually, if an attacker is tagged by a defender, the roles are reversed - the attackers become the defenders, and vice versa. 6. The winning team is often the one that makes the most successful crossings in a set amount of time or rounds. The rules can vary a bit from place to place, and depending on local traditions, so it's always a good idea to clarify if you're playing in a new area.
Patintero lyrics are metaphors about the game of life. BGYO’s 3rd album is coming up so I think Bulalakaw & Patintero will be part of it. Thanks Sir Austin
Honestly speaking for me the song is grower. initially, when I first heard the song, it was just okay to my ears. However, after listening to it repeatedly, it has grown on me and now, it's a melody I truly enjoy.
How are you, Sir Austin? Thank you for your continued support to our best boys BGYO, Sir! Yes! This music video is so nostalgic for us who grew up playing this game on the streets. And yup, ice cream vendors are pretty common on the streets. Thanks once again for reacting to Patintero! I just love how you react to our boys’ movements, and especially your attention to details. Take care always!
Thank u so much sir austin for always supporting BGYO❤your thoughts about the song was right its about life sometimes u win sometimes u loose but whats important is u enjoyed and treasured every moment what life has to offer and u you are happy😊we love u sir austin🫶💕♠️
Thank you sir Austin for loving the happy song Patintero n their cool choreo. You are absolutely right, it is a metaphor, that life is like a game, you may lose or win just enjoy life to the fulliest. Patintero is an old street game played in the Philippines.
Thank you so much for this rv, sir Austin... a truly wonderful and insightful one! You said it right... the song's lyrics reflect not only on the street game itself but also on struggles in life. Some of BGYO's songs deal on this...'The Light' was the first one, 'Extraordinary' 'Game On' and i hope there will be more like them. God bless!
Thank you sir Austin.yes its normal here at the ice cream they could dirty ice cream.but its not dirty 😂😂😂and other street food.could kwek kwek the orange egg, fish ball and kikiam.
you are right with your assumptions about the meaning of the song. thank you for your rv..i was waiting for it. really grateful with your support to the best boys. let's play patintero when you visit Philippines.
You are very on point with how you interpreted the song! It was definitely using the game as a metaphor about life where in the end there are really no winners and losers. You just have to play the game and enjoy life! and the sound is very 90s because the song is a throwback to our childhood when a lot of kids still played outside the whole day playing filipino games like Patintero
Sir Austin!! Thank you so much for the reaction, you got what the song is all about not only an outdoor game that we play, but also about the game of life, and it's okay if takes you a long time before you react to it, as long as we know that you love our best boys, for sure you will react to them 🥰 thank you again so much from the bottom of my ACEs heart 🥰 take care po❤
I always watch your reaction videos and it's so good. I just want to suggest to go check out the other P-Pop group called ALAMAT and do reacto to their performance in Wish 107.5 with their song SAY U LOVE ME. and also their WALANG HANGGAN music video.. PLEASSSSE. It was so beautiful
It's Philippine tag on four-square basketball court style. One team stays on the lines, the other team is trying to red rover through. The dance is the "moves" of how to block. 😂😂😂 There's vendors everywhere. Now I have to see the other reactions, I'm soooo behind on all of it. Oops.
