Hot Take: You shouldn't care about what people think of the brawler you use or feel pressured to use "high-skill" brawlers. If you're doing good with someone and having fun with them, that's all that there is to it.
Hot Take: Dynamike needs an emergency nerf Hot Take 2: the amount of credits that you get after you reach 10000 trophies is absolutely puny, excluding the brawl pass getting credit is slow especially in the trophy road.
@@user-srict991cartmb5 its not even broken it lasts 1.5 seconds and buzzes stun lasts even longer with a star power and even longer with farther range its not even close to broken as buzz
Hot Take: Dynamike isn't skillful, his Dynajump Star Power is easy to use if you JUST practice for an hour with it, he is very spammy aswell, only thing he needs skill for is Muscle-Memory. Another point is that he is a thrower and only thing throwers do is hide behind walls, no complex positioning.
hot take: amber dela vegas attack and super animaions are better than frost queen ambers *in my opinion* more Beautiful colors, nicer projectiles, she swips the floor when she attacks and I also like amber dela vega vibe better. (please shoutout the comment if you react)
Hot take: Grom (my main) is the most matchup dependant brawler in the game and it's not even close. He has multiple matchups where there is a 0% chance of you (the Grom player) winning it. So for me pushing rank 30 on him with randoms is literal hell, especially in the current meta where he isn't even good.
The game's lore kinda sucks, it moves at a snail's pace, only involves a few brawlers, has no sense of proper continuity, is just outlandish for the sake of being outlandish, and most of all information is given in a way that caters to theorists who obsess over every single detail
Hot take: Penny needs a buff because she is my favourite brawler no matter what, plus they just keep on buffing other brawlers. Pirate trio needs to be recognized.
Hot Take: People should make tier lists for casual players as the bad brawlers in competitive are often good in casual, Darryl, Doug and Bo as examples Edit: I recently discovered your channel and I love it keep it up
Hot take: Gadgets and Star powers (Star powers even more so) fundamentally make the leveling system worse than it already is. Since due to the simplicity of the game they make the brawlers usually function differently, paired with the fact that most aren’t offset with some sort of caveat, some Star powers or gadgets can become the difference between a Brawler becoming meta and unplayable, which leads them feeling more like another mandatory extra upgrade that leaves you at disadvantage otherwise, instead of feeling like an investment to make the brawler feel better to play.
I have two, actually; Hot take 1: Frank was actually pretty good in Brawl Ball before the buff Hot take 2: it's actually not that difficult to balance every brawler in a way that A tier becomes the most populated
hot take: If a brawler's design is fundamentally broken and had a low skill ceiling, it should be nerfed into oblivion to the point where the average player would consider the brawler bad
hot take-playing a skill brawler like colt DOES NOT mean ur skilled. the amount of -colt- mains ive encountered, that use gadget to break unbreakable walls is crazy lol.
Hot take: make it so there's only 1 brawler per 2 seasons, in the current brawl pass system you only get 1k credits per season, if a legendary or mythic brawler gets added you need to wait 2-4 whole seasons before you can even play them which is often when they're nerfed hard and arent meta anymore. Ever since angelo and melodie I have never been able to unlock a mythic brawler just with credits, I am completely dependent on starr drops for my mythic and up brawlers. Either this or buff the amount of credits you get from 100 to 150.
I am sorry for the braindead kit played currently, but if you think about kits toolkit, being able to lock opponents in place for your teammates to be able to kill them and being able to jump on your teammates to heal them and get a thrower in the game provides a support that is an interesting rushdown preventer and assasin counter that is able to also work with tanks to help a rush.
I think they should have existed but give the good brawlers bad hypercharges and give the bad brawlers good hypercharges it is also way to expensive is needs to cost power points
hot take:Lily and berry arent that good i mean they are pretty good but not quite broken brawlers like pros say hot take: college Emz was overhated hot take:randoms are usually not that bad as people think hot take:charlies 1st gadget now sucks. it used to be good but they nerfed it too much
Hot take (rather warm take): u should be able to report in ladder and the penalty for mastery farming in solo should be reduced. this would reduce the mastery farming in 3v3 and if they still decide to mastery farm, there gonna be more temted to do it in solo, which wouldnt harm anyone.
also i think you misunderstood the first hot take i think they meant that frank as a brawler will either be too strong or too weak to play in competitive frank is just unbalancable
Hot Take: Tiers on brawlers should not be permanent. For example if I push a brawler to rank 25 (750) trophies and loose my next game I will not be rank 25 anymore.
Hot take: the best way to fix kit is to make it so his super doesnt do any dmg against enemies but in exchange it gets back the invulnerability it gave him in release, that way he'd be less of an assasine and would work more as a waking stun that can help out his teammates.
Nah fr when i had like 7k trophies, i pushed edgar to r27 because it was easy. Next thing you know, i get clowned all the time for being an edgar main, even though i play larry a lot more
10:14 kit would be way less hated an more of an interesting brawler if it wasn't by that stupid invisibility gadget like c'mon, his mechanics as a support are just unique and actually takes skill
Disagree with u with the lily take she was atleast b tier bc the gadget was broken since her release and also vigilance was a better sp than spiky making a really her versatile people just got blinded by the other starpower bc this community aways value dmg rather than speed
Lily back then we definitely D tier, she was viable in a few maps, deep end and flaring pheonix to name a few, but she took so long to charge super and when you got it you often wouldn't even end up with a kill.
@@Insaniac420 ??? She charged her super really fast especially bc of vigilance, also she also charges her attack with just 3 attacks, and btw while she is an assasin with vigilance it allows to have a alternative way to play her, it basically conssists on poking and juking the enemies and then once u charge ur super you tp attack, run away and wait for super, tp again and kill, with this way to play makes u charge super really fast, another thing that carried her being atleast into the B tier is vanish i mean its obvious using this gadget aggressively is just dumb broken
Hot take : 8bit isnt good, a lot of people put him to A tier on tierlists but hes B at max, hes way too slow and there is so much charachter with high speed his shoots just too easy to doge even professional players hit his 3-4 projectile
Hot take: colt is not a very high skill capped brawler Second hot take: anybody under the age of 10 should not be able to play this game as they're pretty much brain-dead
