She went through the taunting crowd with them, sheltered them and helped them slay the dragon widely believed to be the industry giants who opposed them. There is still SO much I don’t know about their journey and army’s but I respect them so much for persevering through their struggles because of their fans. BTS' songs for armys hit different 😭 💜 Make it right is such a beautiful song and the MV always makes me emotional ngl. It shows BTS' story and relationship with army so well and it's so cute. Since the beginning they have done these type of songs or show their appreciation and gratitude in so many ways that you can feel their sincerity and idk is just something so special! Before almost no one released songs like that but now is a little bit more common in kpop but you know.. a lot of times it doesn't feel that honest but who am i to say that, maybe all those artists suddenly decided to show some love to their fans through music 🤷🏻♀️ oh and out of the kpop industry is really hard to find songs like that too Anyways, you can tell Bangtan has always appreciate all the love and support from fans so much. From the beginning and even now BTS only has army and army only has BTS. We have gone through some sht and beautiful things but we always have each other giving mutual strength and love. 💜 Idk if you know 'Cristal Snow' but that's a really good BTS' Japanese song and girl you have to watch the live performance for sure! It's SO good (i recommend you to check later a focus fancam of Jin bc the cameraman made him so dirty in a specific legendary moment)

And BTS didn't 'get it from' anyone, the concept of writing songs for your fans isn't owned.

Thank you for reacting to this song (and actually I just want to thank you for creating this channel and reacting to BTS in general), because we ARMY get to re-live and re-love BTS! It’s been a while since I really appreciated Make it right. When this song was released in Map of the soul:Persona album (April 2019), I was literally a week-old ARMY. I’ve just gotten to know their names, their stories, their lovely songs and their special bond with ARMY. As someone new in the fandom,, I cried when I first listened and read the translation of the lyrics because I knew for sure it was for the fans as a “thank you” for being with them even after the hardships they’ve gone through. The music video and the version with Lauv was released months after the original song, after their Speak Yourself tour where they performed the song live, and including the concert clips in the MV itself was genius! I also loved your interpretation of the animation part 💜 although the live performance you watched was from their first week of promos for the album in Korea back in April 2019. For promos, K-pop groups perform at music shows at different TV broadcast channels, and this was one of them. At these shows, fans are invited as live audience, and they’re given the official “fanchant” (each song has its fanchant) so fans can sing with the group in an orderly and complimentary fashion. ARMYs always excel in fanchants, although ARMYs are also known for singing BTS songs word-for-word during concerts 😂 you’re right, it must be so nice to be a part of that intimate audience! I also wanted to point out something about the desert-ocean metaphor! Ever since their debut days, BTS has made use of this, comparing desert with trials/despair and ocean with opportunities/hope. RM said in their first album 2 Cool 4 Skool: “Even after I debut, new oceans and new deserts will likely await me. I am not afraid, because what has made me who I am are the oceans and deserts I have witnessed.” BTS revisited this imagery in their 2017 Love Yourself:Her album hidden track entitled “Sea” (which I highly recommend btw, the song talks about some of the hardships they went through). Lyrics say: “This place that I thought was the sea was actually a desert… the mirage of a desert, though I could see its form, I couldn’t grasp it. Eventually, the mirage was caught by us and became reality, and the desert we feared got filled with our blood, swear and tears to become the sea.” So impactful! This also ties up nicely with Make it right, especially in the music video. If you watch closely, after BTS’ and ARMYs’ exodus through the desert, after beating the dragon, they finally reach the sea 🥹
I absolutely adore the MV for this song. The cloak-that-was-ARMY not only sheltered him from the cold, but was literally between him and the flames of the dragon, protecting him. Just like ARMY tries to shield BTS. That's a good call on thinking that the man looks like Taehyung. I don't think that you've seen the official MV for ON, but if you watch it, Taehyung is with a young girl and he's dressed much like the man in animation is. They've also said in the behind the scenes for the ON MV that the girl represents ARMY. Also, if you really want to hear the vocal line show off their high notes, you should check out a live performance of their Japanese song, Your Eyes Tell. It's an OST for a movie of the same name about a down-and-out boxer who falls in love with a blind girl. JK wrote the song and actually rewrote the lyrics to be more in line with the movie. They are all so incredibly talented.
