They're not disbanding or anything, they just going for the mandatory military service and will come back as a whole group in 2025.

They never said they going to retired or disband they just doing solo activities for a while because of enlistment but will comeback on early 2025 for their big big comeback a whole group again.

They are only doing solo projects until they all get out of the military. They do not have a choice to stay out, All Korean men from18-30 must serve in the military. (apparently BTS has not proved to their government that they have brought Korea esteem and world attention to their culture like a classical musician or an athlete who made gold in the olympics)BTS was able to have a deferment but they still have to go. The will be back fully as a team in 2025. JK said he wants to be our Forever Idol, welll.. he has millions including me who will be his forever fan

They are not retiring the band will continue in 2025. In Korea there is mandatory military service so they have to go. It is in case there is a war all men must be trained and ready.

Me gusto tu reacción a le sserafilm,y los chicos no se van a separar,solo se van al servicio militar y están trabajando en su álbum cómo solistas los chicos,si vieras su anuncio en el aniversario sabrás por qué se tomaron un tiempo para hacer su carrera en solitario y cumplir con el servicio militar. Y aún en algún futuro tal vez no tan lejano o si , nadie sabe,ellos van a dejar de ser grupo cosa que no creo,pero bueno nadie sabe lo que puedes pasar en esta vida
