It’s 40 degrees F where I’m at and the windchill is about 32 degrees F. I’m in the garage puffing on a aroma de Cuba Connecticut ❤❤❤ it’s not as bad as it seems lol 😂 just enjoy this cigar too much to even pay attention to how damn cold it is ❤️🔥😏💨💨💨💨💨💨
What a terrific review --- thank you!! I, too, was pleasantly surprised by CA's Top 25 cigars this year for being more down-to-earth and available to us mortals. I agree with your assessment of Padron: I have many Padrons in my humidor, but when I go to grab a cigar that'll make me smile, it's never a Padron . . . . P.S. I just rejoined your COTM Club.
Ayee lets goo! Pumped to have you back and glad you enjoyed the episode! We also picked you to receive our episode giveaway of the Principle Exclusive so please email pugh@cigarclub.com so we can get this shipped out to ya!
I think you should do the half wheel list and do a comparison to the CA list. It would also be interesting if you fed both list of cigars into AI and see what order it would put them based on it's knowledge and reviews it could find across the web.
Montecristo in the US has a few blends that were done by AJ.The 1935 series blends are some of those. I had to get used to not immediately turning my nose up at a non cuban Monte.
Great show as always! I agree completely with Pugh’s sentiments on this years list. Happy to see some very worthwhile cigars on the list. I think Halfwheel will be another good one to break down.
Really great review of the list! The only thing that bothers me is the fact that CA is almost afraid to put something new in that top 5. Padron, Oliva, and Fuente are amazing, but just not exciting to see there every year. I’d love to see you do the half wheel consensus. That is my favorite every year to see where everyone as and industry has things land with so many different preferences that people have. Cheers, keep it up!
Flip #8-10 to the top 3 and then we can say CA did better this year. Padron, Fuente, Oliva, and Fuente are almost givens at this point which IMO does not hit the mark. The Oliva in particular is TRASH. One of the worst cigars I have ever had. Halfwheel Concensus or their new one which is Readers Choice would be a great one to cover. (AKA Bay Area Cigar)
