Just bought the game finally a few days ago. I knew it's probably gonna be a good purchase, but I was totally blown away... you guys/gals are pros, hands down. Insane level of polish and attention to detail for an EA title that just came out. Wow. The environmental art in itself would carry this game even without building. :D
I love these devs and the game's community is supercool. Having so much fun playing this game right now, very addicting but in a serene way (when I'm not cursing myself for not bringing enough materials on my random excursion to "some place way on the other end of the map".

Nice!! I super love this game, I am addicted to it right now... One thing I would love to see in future developments is the interaction with water, like adding vehicles running on them, water supplies, and more creatures living on them ;) but all in all, it is a great game even without being completed
"Space Giraffe Potato Thing" xD I love this guy. Probably my favorite Dev-Team so far.. Always communicating with their playerbase, ACTUALLY LISTENING TO THEM (thats rare in gaming nowadays, sad but true). They never make a prmoise they cannot keep (yeah patches got delayed but again communicating with us helped out a lot). And one of the best things: Since its early access a lot of stuff still gets designed and they actually take suggestion from said playerbase to make the game as good as possible for them. Triple A Studios should watch & learn by taking a look at coffe stains style to develop a game. I would love to have the game on steam but fuck it this game is worth downloading epic games launcher.
4:48 Tip: Most of these shots are done with either strafing or standing on a conveyor. Most of the time, it's out of view, but there are a couple shots where you can see the edge of one. As for aerial shots, there are numerous ways to build up into the air, my favorite is the stackable conveyor pole.
6:50 LOL Something is definitely wrong with the big truck. If you jump into the tires it will literally move the truck. Sometimes when you jump on it the suspension will get stuck to the ground ( maybe causing a catapult effect when it breaks free? ). Also it has flew off on me a couple times just from trying to get on top of it.
You should check out that Lets Game it Out guy, he has some absolutely hilarious vids where he absolutely wrecks his framerate making absolutely absurd factories. The conveyor tornado is my personal favourite but the conveyor weave is definitely nice looking.
That moment of bringing back power from 4 geo thermal power generators... Thinking I'm almost home standing on a cliff looking at a gaint hole between here and home, how the hell did I get so high up. I make it down another level, at this point I could see far enough and start building foundations as I walk across the sky. Good thing a brought lots and lots of concrete. I ended up with a nice shortcut to the quartz node whenever that gets usefull

Your attitude, your reactions, the game you deliver (i still can't believe it's early access cause it runs so smooth and already is super far developed!) - just everything makes me like you guys (and the product as well) :) Just wanna say thanks for this great game already and can't wait for more to come! That Alpha Test Weekend was what gathered all of us here, glad you gave us that chance. After the Alpha Test, I didn't close the game to be able to play it one more day xd.
Clearly I waited way too long to get this game, I'll probably never make anything as interesting as these builds but it's still insanely addictive gameplay and I'm always impressed and inspired by seeing what other players are creating.
@@edwardstables5153 And this game is still not done. Apparently they are adding powered walls. Which should make power lines a lot easier to connect to buildings. You could probably power a whole building with one cable now once they add it. I can't wait for the quartz and sulfur update. That will be interesting!
Hey y'all at Coffee Stain. I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for such an awesome game, I've been enjoying it thoroughly and it keeps me pretty active always thinking of better ways to be effecient whilst making a base that looks wonderful and compact to boot. Please do keep up the good work, its one of my new favourite games and it's not even completed yet!
My friend and I were trying to figure out how jumpads work and tried to make a bus around our base, in the end we accidently tried to cross the base and met in the air, resulting in pushing each other away and both dying in laughter.
just a couple of ideas to make things a little better 1, programmable splitters would be better if you can use them as balancer's the more outputs on a line the more the split is in favour of that line 2, splitters get blocked when a line backs up if you could add a pass through option that would be a massive help 3, conveyor lifts that are not clipped by default go only one way it would help if they had no direction until clipped 4, space elevator has no use after all milestones are reached ficit request for produce would make sense because the factory has no purpose
Very cool. Congrats to all base builders in videos, I will never make so cool bases. Just one question, where are all the frackin towers? Am I the only one building towers everywhere?

Hey Coffe Stain, at first: very good game! much better than other full price titles. It'll be incredible, when its finished. Just one thing: the truck has the physics of a feather :-D You can move it by running at with the player. I know its early access, just want to help. go on your way, the game is really good!
Maan, I must say, this game is owesome. I"ve bee playng for almost 40hs and I can say that I'm kinda addicted to it. Now some stuff I would love to see in the game and hopefully some of u guys will read it: 1 - Tamming a alien animal you can ride for early locomotion could be cool, aswell a way to give orders or hitch the pet in the base... ( I've lost like 4 lisards around the map already). 2 - I would aswell love to see some stuff that has recursive or unlimited progression so I could keep playng indeffinetly like researsh improvements for lower materials costs, not sure wat else could be done (ark has breeding mutations, I was thinking in something like that but differently of course). 3 - CROPS! having a nice garden to plant your berrys, seeds and cloth would be nice. 4 - flying transport... I really love explore, as a lot of people probabbly do, but when u face a cliff and u need to build a ramp to acess or make a big route around its really frustrating in my point of view. 5 - trashcan that can be acessed by conveyor belts for disposing excess items. (would be a lot better to use inteligent splitters with a single belt instead of having a loop. I have a lot more to say, but this is getting big already... so I'll stop here. thanx if anyone read and consider this. :)
I built my factory to complete tier 6 on one breath. The game cretors, the world creators are genius. No one FPS, TPS, MMORPG, RPG, even TES, WOW, FarCry, they never create so diversitive, so deep, so detailed, so unusual, buldible, destroyble- no one create world, this game must have a deep plot, story, better then even Subnautica. It so good to be a simple sandbox. I may be oldfashioned, oldschool player. Worse. I am oldfasioned russian player. We like deep plot and history, some times more then grafics, we love puzzels, quizes, hard questions ( bulding full atomated, accurate, productivity growth from functon and optimisation,workind factory is interesting puzzle itself) difficult and unpredictible choice. I very happy to play . More flora resurses and fauna. All to prodaction. An please, create autonobile roads, add asphalt, and bridge. The earth so crossing. This game is nothing short of awesome. I love experimenting with different things in the game. As of this comment I'm trying to see how many coal plants I can build and run successfully all at once :)
Are there any plans for a steam release? I get that it's less economically feasible, but I would happily pay the the 25% more to get it on that platform.
I fucking love this game and the way the company operates. I'm going into UX research/design and/or general data analysis in a month (loved the video with your UI/UX designer) and I desperately wish you were based in a place convenient for me to apply. Love the game and can't believe people are so salty about the (free) Epic store *shrug. Will be following the company from here on for sure :)
Did it hurt? When these companies bent you over and started taking turns? The pirate bay has this game already. Why would pc gamers, who are nothing but pirates according to epic, install their launcher? Especially since they already have a bittorrent client because pc gamers are nothing but pirates. The decision to support coffee stain by buying on epic's barebones store was taken away from me. You like to be forced apparently. Don't worry, women love submissive men. You may want to put a bandaid on your asshole before you leave the house though.
Actually the truck is little bit broken :P One of the front axle (can't remember which one) isn't where it supposed to be and causing slight problems and end up bounce/flying when bumping in to rock or something too hard :) Otherwise i love the truck!
I got footage on my channel. Played for two days straight before recording things. I think I have conveyor belts running through my head and sending off packaged chunks of my brain now.
