i’m really bad at listening to albums in a timely manner, okay? socials instagram: / brianapineau twitter: / brianababbles spotify: open.spotify.c... dawn fm - the weeknd, album reaction/review
Less Than Zero is not only my favorite song on this album, it's one of the best songs I've ever heard. I'd put it in my top 5 songs of all time. I'd describe it as transcendent, spiritual and nostalgic.
Consider this is an FM station playing in your car where you are in the tunnel between the death and heaven. During this journey, you are going through all the bad things you have done and acknowledging your wrong-doings. Also, The end of Phantom-Regret by Jim loops to Dawn FM(starting track of Album).. making you feel that you are still not going to heaven as you are still not gotten over your regrets. That's why, Jim Carrey tells you "You may forget your name" at the end of Out Of Time . I know its a lot of info. But, it just transcends your listening experience. Great Reaction
You should listen to all the albums you haven’t heard. Trust me there’re all 10/10 😂. So “Kissland”, “Beauty behind the madness”, and “My dear melancholy” are the only ones you didn’t hear yet. Listen in that order it’s fun to hear his growth from album to album 😊 btw Kissland is weird and definitely a grower try to go into it with an open mind
I might of watched every reaction for this album. So cute you are late and I still found yours. This e tire year has been great with music. Dawn FM began the year. Even the concert was a highlight. XO GANG
I Loved with a capital L this reaction! Made some amazing points for and against different tracks and i love your gentle commentary and editing!! Please keep posting and looking into some more of The Weeknd!! Really glad this showed up in my reccomnded and look forward to discovering new music with you :) dogbless x
Kissland will be your go to album if you wanna really dig deeper into Abel's true work of art. I bet you'd turn into a true XO after giving your ears to that album.
Take My Breath was the opening number to the concert i went to and my fucking god what a opener. I was from that point untill the end on another planet.
I love this Album & Loved his concert when i saw him at the 49er Stadium. I will say that Tory Lanez did a good job with his 80's themed Album : Alone at prom .
Please listen to MDM 1:06 Dawn Fm 1:50Gasoline 3:51 HDIMYLM 6:25 Take my Breath 10:33 Sacrifice 11:50 A tale by Quincy 12:18 Out of Time 13:55 Here we go again 16:40 Best Friends 17:34 ITSE 19:10 Starry Eyes 20:11 Every Angel is terrifying 21:20 Don’t break my heart 23:40 IHYM 25:40 Less than zero
@5:25 I agree. Abel has been sampling and having hints of 80s music throughout his entire discography that he can pull the new 80s sound off perfectly.
The first time I listened to this album I didn’t like it as much as I do now. I agree with you first listen I didn’t really enjoy the last part of the album. “Don’t break my heart” is now my favorite 😂 it’s definitely a grower
I only like 80s inspired music from The Weeknd because it’s not a complete copy. It’s like he makes his own music using the sounds of that time with the knowledge of the future.
Phantom Regret by Jim Carrey HIT me hard when i first heard it. You should look into the backstory of the album and how it ties in to all his previous albums. Itll take it to another level for u. Love this album. Abel has been one of my favorite artists of all time. You forsure need to more of him
If you review Black Atlass I'm definitely becoming a Sub lol, please I feel people are missing out. Review Pain and Pleasure Album I swear you'll be intrigued
