This year Diodato won the very popular Sanremo Music Festival in Italy (like Mahmood did last year) and thus won the right to participate to the Eurovision Son Contest.With the Covid-19 emergency his song has become a symbol of the italian resillience when people started singing this song from their balconies. Europvision was later cancelled as a competition this year, and a "substitute event" was broadcasted in Europe this saturday, where each country sent a video of their song. That's what Italy sent and this broke lots of Italian hearts, b ut judging form the attention this video is receiving worldwide, i think it greatly impacted lots of people. Love from Italy❤️

What really breaks my heart is that he's singing "Fai Rumore", which literally means "you make noise" in an entirely empty Arena di Verona. it saddens the song 10 fold

I loved the song when I heard it for the first time, but this performance in that empty beautiful open air arena is just simple phenomenal. The lyrics never felt more poignant , something like" I dont want that Unnatural Silence " Really it brought me to tears. Thank you Italy, and thank you Antonio Diodato .

I'm so proud of Diodato, he's a wonderful artist from my city, a very polite boy and a real smart person. Taranto (our city) is living a very bad situation due to the pollution of the biggest industry in Europe (ILVA). The air is unbreathable and makes people dying of cancer; Diodato is doing a big campaign against this situation. He is great.

Just one of the most inspiring songs I've heard delivered in the most magnificent way in a stunning setting. It starts slow and then errupts, with Diadato blasting out with his powerfully emotional voice. Such a shame the world didn't get to hear it in as the Italian entry the Eurovision Song Contest this year. Best song of the year, not just at Eurovision or San Remo. "Make Noise" takes on a totally new meaning with all the empty streets all around the world. It's sad that this song won't get the chance to be represented in Eurovision.

i think this years eurovision will stuck with me as the most effective- especially cause it didn't happen. so no looser or winners this year- only winners. this song is pure magic as others like switzerland, bulgaria, romania and some more. and all that songs became a symbol for that crazy timeperiod we all went trough. eurovision 2020 is stuck in limbo forever...

Noi Italiani abbiamo e ancora viviamo con l'angoscia di essere contagiati. It's a love song but has meanwhile a deeper meaning in this period. This performance has broken the heart of every Italian....seeing an empty arena of Verona that in usually full of people, it's the location of every big concert. it's heartbreaking and gives hope at the same time.
