I watched the whole rant, Inception basically complaining because the game is playable 😂. FC24 or FIFA 23.5 was basically like efootbal update. let me say that again INCEPTIONS RANT IS BECAUSE THE GAME IS PLAYABLE !!! it has a revamped career mode and could possibly be one of the top Fc games to release for while. Cause next year they'll probably mess up the shooting... or add another 500 annimations so that you see Ronaldo's calf muscle flex before taking a shot.meaning when you press to shoot you'll score next week.

I can’t bare how much inception rants. I get his point but this game is clearly looking better than last years and from my experience I haven’t had any issues, i feel like this community sometimes tends to look for issues and it makes the game less enjoyable for everyone. I also don’t get everyone who complains about the gameplay being slow because that is what it takes for a realistic football game, I don’t want to lose every fucking champs game 10-9. Inception just needs to give it up until we have actual fucking problems with the game. Then ea might actually listen when we aren’t complying with every tiny error. I will stop waffling now myself.

Inception is right. L1 speed boost has to be nerfed. Its straight up stupid how broken it is,you need 0 skill in this game to abuse it and you cant defend it enough well to not nerf it. Also,same problems like last year,R1 "dribbling" should be nerfed too and they should let the actual skill moves shine.

Nick is right bro, the L1 speed boost shouldn’t get taken away because it’s literally the only few ways of actually getting in and scoring an opportunity, why? Because the gameplay is trash and the AI defenders don’t let us get through so I have to agree with nick here over inception however I get where inception is coming from, the L1 speed boost is a garbage mechanic so it shouldn’t be in the game however it is unfortunate because we desperately need that speed boost otherwise we ain’t getting through this OP stupid AI defenders ever.. even in good gameplay!.

I'm in the market for an fc rant video right now, there's been too many bs matches today for me, even though I personally still think this year is pretty fun.

We keep buying and playing the game, but we know its garbage. This year delayed menus on ps4 are insane, backs thats dont run back and players that stop running are the most annoying things. Idc how people play theres always a meta but the normal stuff should work.

Defensive ai definitely needs a nerf. Cant stand ppl who just hold r1 or whatever it is the entire time and track your ever move ,even with players who are in capable of defending. Bring back the days where you actually have to manual track, for the most part anyway and not only reliant on r1

its defensive catch up for me, even if you beat a defender and have 15 pace over him he will be back on your ass in seconds. Bad defense is literally rewarded there's no reason not to step up every play.

Sorry guys, but i think this type of gameplay is the best.. a bit slower, more realistic and it’s possible to score all types of goals, not just cutbacks. I think it’s really well balanced.. some minor things to adjust here an there.. but OVERALL, atleast for me this is one of the best games they made 👍🏽

I fully agree with you Nick, you cannot talk about any attacking mecanic until the defensive approach to the game is adressed first. The defensive AI is absolutely ridiculous : tracking, tackles from behind, depth in the box, blocks on shot. Everything is absolutely over the top and forces you down the one or two path to the goals that are consistent. And the rebounds on bad passes and bad dribbling ? Absolutely ridiculous. It was mostly fine in 24, to the point that i ve seen 10 times more rebound based goals than over the entire 24 cycle. Overall, 25 is an atrocious gameplay experience at the moment, it s probably the worst early game of any of the Fifa games ever released, definitely among the 5 last edition. Finally, offensive AI.... i ve already lost count how many times i ve seen attackers hide behind a CB when they re initially fully open, or just cant seem to be able to take a step back to counter run a defender that tracks back in the box. What this game needs is simple : - massive nerf to AI defensive tracking - nerf to the ability of AI to make blocks or tackles when a player triggers a pass or shot - Nerf manual and auto tackles from behind - Nerf rebounds, if possible - Massively buff short passing - Nerf R1 passing on players that dont have over 80 passing stats, which would kill the abuse of blind passing from the box. - Then, nerf offensive options based on how things evolve. Simple, and perfectly doable. Except they just dont want a fair game. They want a game anyone can get satisfied with and just enough frustration that they run to the store for packs.

Sommat they have to do eventually even if it means next FC new gen SHOULD be able to play 120fps could help alot of the issues out with smoothness ETC . Most people are playing on PS5 / New Gen xbox now but still capped @ 60fps ( I play on 240hz monitor cause i have a pc as well ) But New gen is limited to FPS compared to PC ETC u buy a ps5 for the better quality and smoothness of a game and the FPS but u don't benefit from anything on FC at all its nearly 2025 and we are still playing games on 60fps with no option to change

Funny thing, but you should get same responsiveness as you get on PC on XSX. Xbox supports 120fps in FIFA/EA FC, Playstation is limited to only 60fps. Madness.

Nick is 100% right he has the same view as me. You can't nerf l1 speed boost with an AI like this, 5 back formation & Drop Back! Thats legit the best mechanic that we had in years in EA FC/Fifa to combat AI defending in general but I would still say that 5 Back is way overpowered even for l1 speed boost!

I agree with nick the moment L1 sprint boost gets nerfed it’s gonna destroy the game. The gameplay will get 10x slower and will be a direct copy of last fifa but with 💩 dribbling. Controversial but compared to last fifa this game isn’t really that bad, shows moments of fifa 14-15 My only issue is that when pros are realising 5 back Tactics as the meta it’s gonna be a long year.

I quit the game day 2 (full release). Everything is and feel sluggish, 5backs, cant pass correct, cant Lstick move and delays/lags. I am also playing on pc with very good specs. Haven't have fun once. Until they fix this shit, I won't play this shitty ass game

Just did Joe Gomez EVO. Power Serge and Club Member Card, which would bring him up to 84. When I claimed the EVO I got an 82 with only a part of the upgrades…. How did they mess this up aswell, what the hell am I supposed to do now… smh

I totally agree with Nick. The speed boost is dumb but it's a necessary evil to get around the stupidly overpowered defensive AI. I'm so sick of being 2, 3 yards ahead of a defender but then they miraculously catch up and put in the perfect tackle from behind. Also just seeing the AI perfectly mark every single attacker to the point where i'm watching them knock over my players because they're aggressively marking them so closely. I'll be interested to see what happens with the first patch but at the moment IT AIN'T EASY!!!

9mins into the video , speed boost is only broken vs bad players , i have went multiple games were my opponents have tried the boost 20+ times and failed to get past me every single time , if you can defend youll be good . nico williams vs TAA 20 boosts , 20 fails lol . They def moved the crap of new gen to old gen. I don’t mind the gameplay this year but I feel like I’m the only player that knows how to score good goals. I’m cooking people with Celia sasic and gold Brennan Johnson. There are games where it should be 4-0 my way but it’s 4-3 cos they get 2 rebounds and a penalty.

Tbh pc gameplay is terrible as well, i mean not for everybody, but for example i have RTX 2070 SUPER connected with I5 9400F and my game is stuttering as hell... Even people with better specs have the same issue, it looks like its random, I couldnt fix it at all, tried everything, formats, nvidia control panel edits, game settings edits still the same, maybe someone there does have solution?

Every input has a 1 second delay. Unplayable. It's not even inconsistent gameplay, it's consistently delayed. I'm on PC btw. Edit: I know what inconsistent gameplay is (had it in EA FC 24). The issue I'm having in EA FC 25 is not that.

Nick is correct in the fact that this company haven’t released a realistic football game for the past decade. They keep getting more and more worse. Yeah the AI defending is so OP yeah and the speed boost is just as bad but you have to pick your poison cause overall this game is horrible. Not to mention I just got scored from the kick off glitch. L1 speed boost is just dumb , I can’t play draft without a loser keep using it every single second with mbappe and vini. Imagine the game after 1 month with everybody having mbappe and vini . Champs will be hell , and I fucking hate 5 at the back formation it just so dumb , hope they remove 5 at the back formations.
