Agreed. Do like the MLB where they keep their City Connect uniforms around for multiple seasons. Some MLB teams don't even have a City Connect uniform yet. The NBA is clearly running out of ideas with a new City Edition uniform every year.

See the problem is that people don't understand the city connection. The Houston jersey is a throw back to Phi Slama Jama, both the font and the color scheme are an homage to the Olajuwon/Clyde Drexler UH Cougars, Texas's tallest fraternity, the doctors of dunk. They put basketball on the map for Houston. It's not simplistic, it has a city specific basketball historical connection.
So most of the teams can't wear these Jerseys at the same time playing against each other on the court since most of them are in black color, what a boring year of city Jerseys
i just wish they added more, its a jersey that the teams use like 4 times a season and then next season they gotta come up with new ones, i would love to see more themes most of these just seemed like copy and paste, change the font the color and they were the same. an example would be like to have horses running on the waistline of the jersey for the mavs for example with the one leading the pack getting on its hind legs and makes the jersey number with its mane. Ik it may not be a cool idea in practice but idk man, teams should get more creative with these. as krispy said i prefer originality and trying to be outside the box wayy more than a boring tshirt. I feel like in a way the nets one didnt do that well because it looks like random scribbles with no meaning behind them, if they did something to do w brooklyn or something with the nets like idk a net styled design on the t shirt, it would be cool asf
70% of those jerseys are just black (or some very dark colour) with the city name in some weird font. Come on, where are the colors and all the creativity?
