Or maybe you think it would be awful. The thing about mocks is that nobody knows what’s going to happen. If a couple years ago you saw Josh Primo in the lottery in a mock, everyone would have thought what the heck. But it happened. And after all, you are not some big name who makes mock drafts, but these guys are, so they clearly know something about what they are talking about and doing. So maybe they know something that you don’t.
@@jaxondonley8272 primos was bust and that was before allegations aslo i'm saying with current roster with their defense issue and their center rotation set with dude guy getting pay they have little to zero time to play edey to development him
@@dmen9328yes he is. He's got connections unlike fans or even the guy reviewing. Besides how can any draft be horrendous when literally nobody has a clue what's going to happen
@@dmen9328 he lowkey plays like luka bro not saying hes going to be that but his game is smooth and slow i dont expect him to be an all nba defender though just an offensive beast perfect big guard
man this draft night is gonna be one for the ages. insane trades could go down, some out of the blue picks, and for every single team they will probably be choosing from a pool of like 3-5 players, no matter when they pick. Nobody in this draft is a sure thing to go at any spot
The Kings found a gem in Keon Ellis last year, a SG, they were able to keep Monk. The clear issue they have is size. I'd riot if they drafted a 6-1 guard instead of trading the pick for a win now piece.
they need to draft nikola topić if he falls to 13. i think they can get a really good pick cause no projected picks are really solidified. but yeah another small guard not the move
As a Hawks fan, they should draft Sarr regardless of how he feels. He can't just sit out if they draft him lol. But unfortunately our front office likes getting told what to do by kids so I guess that won't happen :/
I want the Hornets to draft Devin Carter. I want him because he is a great defender and, more importantly, he is an exceptionally hard worker. We need someone exactly, _exactly_ , like that. We need someone to go with Miller as a trendsetter for this team. I'd take Castle as well, because of how big he is, but I think Carter would change the locker room in a great way. Then get Ryan Dunn in the second. Great defender. What I'm saying here is, this isn't a great draft talent wise. So go ahead and get defense, all the way. We have scoring threats. Bridges can score 20 a game, so can Miller, so can LaMelo. Mark Williams can score 10 a game. Mann can score 10 a game. We need defense before we need anything else.
I’m praying that we pick Sheppard at 3. Only exception would be if Sarr somehow is available but other than that I think Sheppard is thr perfect pick for Houston.
agree. I don’t see the Heat taking Edey at 15. People just want Bam to play the 4 so bad they’d accept a big with bad fit. We’ll see tonight what happens but i don’t see it either. I’m praying for Ron Holland
Risacher vs Castle at 4 like in Vecenie's mock would be a really tough choice for the Spurs. I would desperately try to move up from 8 to 5 and hope the Pistons would want say Keldon Johnson and #8 so I could take them both if I'm the Spurs.
As a Pels fan how should I feel about Missi? With us likely losing Jonas I think Missi is way too raw for our current timeline. As of today Larry Nance is our only big signed
It depends because i think missi can play right away he a project but he has the tools he super athletic, very mobile on perimeter will need work offensively he very limited Think of him like a super athletic Clint capela
If I'm the hawks, I trade dejounte murray for someone like brandon ingram. And I trade down from 1 to 3 or 4 to get Reed Sheppard or Castle Trae-Sheppard/Castle-Ingram-JalenJohnson-Okongwu
Maybe that agent knows something about the Hawks and believs it's a bad place to play so is telling his clients not to go there if they have a choice. Hard to believe that's just coincidence but who knows.
The bulls will hopefully trade Vucevic, so I hope that they draft Edey, who literally is the two-time BEST player in college basketball. Two other ppl have done that and they were first overall. This could be a Stephen Curry or Kobe scenario where the star is drafted late. I’d love to see Edey on my Chicago Bulls
@@ajevans1422 Well, "Deandre" is, if I'm not mistaken, a derivative of the French "De Andre", meaning from or of Andrew. Hunter in French is "Chaseusse.
What I want the Spurs to do. Stay away from Risacher and Salaun. I sense bust potential from those players. Spurs trade up to 1 or 2 to get Sarr, but if Atlanta still looks to get Sarr, trade with the Hawks giving them their picks back for 1 and if they wanna add Murray into it as well I'm fine with that. At pick 4, draft Castle, if he's taken then draft either Holland or Dillingham. I would have Topic in there, but the injury is concerning, and before the injury I easily had the Spurs taking him at 4. At pick 8, either Topic, Holland, Devin Carter, Dillingham, and maybe Buzelis at the very least. Not big on him, but would not hate it. If Sarr falls to the Wizards, I think the Spurs can trade 4 for 2 and throw in 1 or 2 future first round picks
What about the idea of the wizards in Houston getting together in Houston gets the rights to I don’t know to pool and Kuzma. And wizards get the 3 pick and there pic back from wall for Westbrook trade . The wizards use the 3 pick draft Zackery Zaccharie Risacher end up out this draft or I did bring up this idea as well a three team trade between Washington Houston, and the Spurs, where the Spurs would get Jones sign and trade and the second pick overall Houston would get Kuzma , and pool and wizards would get 3,4,8 picks , and wizards get the 1round back from Houston . The spurs could get Zaccharie Risacher then wizards could draft sarr number 3 , number 4 they could draft there pg of the future in STEPHON CASTLE and with number 8 the wizards would draft ZACH EDEY then 26 wizards could draft either Tyler Kolek, Ryan Dunn , Pacome Dadiet then with 50 bonny James . Thet would end up being amazing draft for the wizard thing about this draft it help all three teams
Poole's contract isn't being traded this year. Kuzma isn't worth the 3rd overall, much less the 3rd and another pick. That would be a great situation for the wizards but I doubt the rockets and spurs would allow that many spots by one team in the top 10.
@@thezackast2752 this is not the normal draft. This is where you don’t understand the value of the pics because this is a development draft that he his draft is worth that. Yes it is. This is not a normal dress of the value of the pics is a lot less than what the normal draft is that’s why there was talk about Detroit trading freaking and other things in the trade to get them because the value is there. This is why you’re not in the position your overvalue in the pic these players in this draft at best even if the high picks are just role players, second of all, Paul is capable of being an all NBA player and All-Star. He’s proven. He has a track record doing it. Yes he had a bad season. Everybody has a bad season or two during their career. They’re not the greatest. It happens to everyone and yes, he needs to mature but maybe be under Popovich it might actually make him that good so get him better Jones is probably a first run draft pick at this point because of the season he had the value is there you don’t understand how it really works. I’m sorry, but you don’t. This is a development draft. Not a draft of guarantee people are gonna be superstars every one of the players in this draft have flaws every one of them there’s no guaranteed superstar player in this draft, there’s some better chances higher ceilings and others but it’s still a development. Draft is a lot less than a normal draft.
@chrishutchens5167 Even as a bad draft, Kuzma isn't worth a 3rd overall. Maybe you could get the Spurs to give you the 8th overall for him, though I'm not sure I see the fit with him and Sochan. I would personally rate his value at 10-15 overall. Poole isn't getting traded because of the size of his contract in comparison to his play. He had a down year, which isn't uncommon. The problem is that you cannot pay someone 30 million a year on a down year. He has a proven track record of good play for a team and system that is known for bringing out the best in its players, especially guards. Popovich is an excellent coach, but even then it's hard to justify taking on that contract. The problem with your proposal is that it offers very little to teams other than the Wizards.
@chrishutchens5167 What I'm intending to say here is that Poole is a rehabilitation project right now. Last season was not simply a 'bad season', he was regularly committing mistakes that you see in the G-league. Kuzma isn't worth enough to move down in this draft, especially not for the number of picks you are suggesting. As I said, for a late lottery pick he would be worth a trade, but not higher. This is a developmental draft, which is why the Spurs and Rockets should be comfortable where they are. They're developing teams. I am not overestimating the value of this draft. You are underestimating the value of the Washington Wizards.
He's 6'2 and is an average shooter at best, he is a lazy defender at times and his assist/turnover ratio isn't good either but as a pure talent he'd be in my top 10 as well. It's just hard to find a team fit with so many deficiencies.
Zach Edey is going to be the best player of this draft and a superstar in this league. He can move better than other big, he can shoot just never had to at purdue and is good passer. He was 2 time player of the year and he has only been playing BASKETBALL FOR 6 SIX YEARS, I SAY AGAIN 6 YEARS. HE SHOULD BE GOING NUMBER 1
They need defense far more than shooting. LaMelo and Miller can already shoot. So can Bridges if they resign him. I'd rather Carter than Castle because his shooting is better and I think he'll be a good influence, but the Hornets have enough shooting.
I need your opinion about this trade that i mocked. I sent Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma and a future first to the spurs for pick 4 and Tre Jones and Keldon Johnson. The reason I did this is because the spurs are trying to win with Wemby and I think those are more win now players and the wizards try to get younger. The wizards take Sarr and Dillingham and the Spurs take Saulaun at 8. Then they trade back into the lottery with Portland and take Collier
@@Abdul95Rachman well the idea was that the spurs could use the championship experience that Poole and Kuzma bring and Poole can kinda help with the guard that they draft if they draft one. Or if it doesn’t work out the spurs can just use him in a trade for a better player
