You guys are so appreciative of us, but we're the ones who are appreciative of you. You respect the content, you don't just flippantly critique everything out of ignorance like some newcomers do (one of the things anime fans lament now that it's mainstream). Y'all actually take the time to assess the artistic value, the production quality, the different filming or staging or acting techniques that are utilized to add flare and relevancy to a particular series. The thing fans (of anything) hate isn't when someone critiques their favorite thing, contrary to popular belief, because there are fair critiques to be made about everything. If you ever react to final forms, I recommend you also react to Sougo's actual Ohma Zio transformation in the show. The one you saw here was like an alternate reality movie version.
About the 3 additional Riders in Zi-Oh: Zi-Ohs center story revolved around time-travelling and thus meeting certain past Riders in, well, the past. But later on they decided to show Riders from "future seasons", which were Shinobi, Kikai and Ginga. Shinobi for example was slated as being the Kamen Rider of the year 2021 funnily enough. But that is not all. The suits for all 3 of them were re-used older suits from prior shows. Shinobi was a heavily modified suit from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Kikai was a remodeled grunt suit from kamen Rider Kabuto, and Gingas suit used a movie exclusive upgrade form of kamen Rider Fourze as basis. However: Shinobi turned out to be so popular that Toei gave him essentially his own mini series, which introduced his rival Rider, Kamen Rider Hattori. Hattori also used a prior suit, in his case it was the suit used for Kamen Rider Future Drive from Kamen Rider Drives movie. This is particularry insane, because they managed to turn a suit based on a (if memory serves me right) BMW concept car and turned it into a full fledged ninja design. Bonus factoid: Kamen Rider Kikai is a callback to another series made by Kamen Riders creator. He was inspired by "Jinzo Ningen Kikaider" ("Artificial Human Kikaider"), which some of you might remember from his 2006 anime adaption still. Plus, Kikais actor also played the role in a modern (but sadly failed) Kikaider reboot-movie.

My personal recommendations are: - Kabuto (best suits, peak action, and interesting story) - Decade (an anniversary show with alternative universe versions of past riders) - ZO (a 40 minute movie that a mix of grit, horror and dark fantasy) If you’re open to a slow burn, Kuuga is a mix of horror and police procedural.

Saber also included our first anti hero female rider in the show, not movies or special, last longer than 2 episodes after her debut. Revice brought back our female tertiary rider, but also the first female rider to get a power up final form. Geats more or less the same as revice with continuing to give female riders power up and final forms. Here is the best part, we're currently in the present now with Kamen Rider Gotchard still airing. We got our very first female secondary rider. which means she will also get more forms than her previous predecessors. Previous seasons in the Hesei and Neo heisei era only had female riders in movies, or specials only. And female riders usually end up being tertiary or 4th riders.

Yes most of Zio's thematic is watch based. Also that's Woz, best hype man in Rider History. It even included the Rider Time Zio vs Decade specials and Super Hero Senki, even Tsukuyomi's Girls Remix appearance (Goddamn everytime i see her transform at that special, it still gives me a sad feeling tbh). very nice. As for why are there so many Zios, well Decade is hunting them in his special TTFC movie Zero One: The New Era! Those credit cards are actually called Progrise Keys. Zero One's theme is actually a grass hoper but high tech. Also Zero Two's actually Zero One's Final form. Its just that if Izu, Aruto's secretary goes solo. Aruto lets her use the Zero Two system to protect herself. And also Zero Two is basically Golden Experience Requiem in Rider Form. The reason why Vulcan opens his with brute force is because its his way, another way of saying "its my ninja way" but in Kamen Rider. Progrise Keys cant be opened without Authorizing it through scanning Magnum, oh boy........i cant wait for you two to get to Geats
While in lore, they're all "Access Keys" - you know the kind of card you scan on a door to allow access or unlock the door, their designs are more of a mix of cassettes, card key, and key.
Most of the time there are condition about who can transform into riders. The ogis were originaly cyborgs so in a way that is their true forms(just like the monsters of their villians) . From the two thousands the riders still originated from the antoganistic groups but the characters also have some relation with those groups. In very few serieses can anyone transform into riders, but in those cases they only become their own version of a rider. Conditions like only the monsters can use it or have specific traids to it.

One's *Hazard Level* is a measurement of their resistance to/affinity with a substance known as *Nebula Gas,* which originates from that Pandora Box thing that was mentioned earlier. At Hazard Level 1, if you get turned into one of that season's monsters, known as *Smash,* you're just FUCKED, likely due to being in poor health condition when getting exposed to the gas, and as soon as you get de-Smash-ified, WHOOPS-A-DOO, YOU BE DEAD, and there's nothing that can be done about it unless the hazard level somehow gets raised. Hazard Level 2, you *WON'T* die when you get de-Smash-ified, but ya will have some short-term memory loss. Otherwise, nothin' bad happens, ya get to go back to being a human being. Hazard Level 3 is where the fun begins- it's the minimum Hazard Level needed to use the Build Driver, as well as the *Transteam Gun.* Level 4 lets you use the Sclash Driver, Level 5 lets ya use the *Evol Driver* (but no human can naturally remain at that level), and there's nothing special about Level 6, but Hazard Level 7? HOO BOY. When someone hits Hazard Level *7,* a physical change to the Fullbottle they have the most affinity with will occur, and they're generally a force to be reckoned with even when untransformed. I don't really recommend Build. The show is just too good that everything comes after it will be bland af (except for few exceptions). I do recommend W, OOO and Fourze. They have good introduction to the Fundamental of Kamen rider, it's newbie friendly.
