I know its your first time watching and all, but speculating if Pearl and Steven were together had me full on ayphixiating

I love that the first thing you said on the first song was "Ooh got some piano!" because the show does leitmotifs for each character, and Pearl is the piano- if Pearl is singing there is always piano, and the more Pearl it is the more piano heavy it tends to be. If you love music you will love this show, even the background music is so rich and wonderful and full of meaning and repeated themes. In ep one you'll see every character has their own instrument and theme, and the background music is influenced not only by the mood, but who is in the scene, and even sometimes the person they are talking about

This isn't really a spoiler, especially since this is pretty clear when you read the lyrics in some of these songs. But Pearl is into girls and her relationship with the guy is more like two rivals in love with the same woman being friends.

A fun fact about SU music is that different characters have different main instruments/elements of music that they're associated with. Pearl's tracks and instrumentals use a lot of piano, Steven's parts use chiptune, Amythest's is percussion and Garnet uses a lot of bass. It's fun to listen to the instrumentals because you can tell whose part it is even without the voices there

This series starts out slow, because of its complex world-building that required a lot of stories (the first season has twice as many episodes as each of the following ones). SU may seem somewhat goofy at first, but by the middle of season one BAM.

Fun Fact: The purple gem is Sugallite and she's voiced by Niki Manaj. She's also a fusion (which is two gems combining both their powers into one gem). Sugallite's gems that make her are Pearl (the gem with the pointy nose) and Garnet (the gem with sunglasses.) 👍🏼

I see many reactors so this because: 1- You can communicate with fans and get actual responses to your question without it being a necessary spoiler and you can make rules for the chat ai. Not only that but 2- you can do that for twitch and then after it you can just import the video from twitch to RU-vid and just cut the video for copyright and put a black image with a 75-80% opacity to avoid copyright.
