I think I can provide some extra info: So their "main" concept (from their three main tracks, 'Irawa', 'Fantasy' and 'Poison') is that Daewang (the masked member) is controlling them. Its supposedly shown through their dance. Daewang is from the future too, she is listed as being born in 2189 in everything, haha, and she is supposedly 169 years old. One thing one should think about when it comes to Pink Fantasy is that it is mostly made up of idols who were given a second chance by the CEO of MyDoll. She stated that she didn't judge members based on age and appearance, so the initial debut line up had a huge age gap (I think the youngest was 13, and the oldest 26? Need to fact check that). They have stated that having a member masked was the masked member's idea, due to her having anxiety issues and the anonymity helped her. They have also lost a few members, one to anxiety, one to a chronic foot issue that made her incapable to dance for extended periods, and two to undisclosed reasons. I have the impression that their CEO is prioritizing the member's health, but sadly I think the group itself is badly marketed. As others have said, the main trilogy is much darker, and should've honestly been marketed as its own "brand" to lessen the confusion (and makes it much easier to follow). I am still confused what all the other tracks actually are. I know they have three subunits, but apparently 'Lemon Candy' was supposed to be a b-side of the new album, but they put it out beforehand to give the fans something? This does mean that they didn't have a "official" comeback in over a year, and then its quite disappointing that their first "album" had two new tracks ('Poison' and the 'Alice in Darkland' instrumental). Anyway I share in your confusion even though I have been trying to do some research. I do hope they manage to come back at least once more in 2021 and keep their latest sound to get some consistency. So it means that some members have failed in other projects but was given a second chance as members of Pink Fantasy? But also some was add to group in others ways cuz as I understand Pink Fantasy is a first debut for (for example) Lee Sanga and Momoka. Also want to say that I will never get this fact from my experience cuz if Fantasy is just solid song and clip, Poison is a masterpiece. The song, the dance, the mv. Some members were trainees that never debuted in their previous companies. Sanga was the only one that audition for the group but left due to personal reasons. Miku and Momoka are from Japan and were from the dance studio that works along side MyDoll Entertainment a lot.

YES!!! pink fantasy are the BEST at being versatile!! they nail every concept! I personally like the playing house concept the most, but the rock genre is amazing as well! I also love the amount of subunits, some people have a problem with it and them having less full group songs, but I personally love the fact the girls are picking which songs they like the most! like yechan and yubeen personally picked to do a balled subunit! yes and daewang is the masked member, she’s amazing. she edits and films most of pink fantasy’s videos and she cares about the girls so much! she still regularly wears the full bunny head, she just wears the half mask for the tough dances in poison and lemon candy! also they have the most AMAZING ceo! she’s an ex girl group member, and she picked all the members based on talent, not on age, looks weight or anything! she picked ex-member aini because she was too old to be a trainee and knew her potential and she scouted yechan out at her job at a bookstore! I HIGHLY suggest watching the promisinger episode with them, i watched it when I was getting into them and they’ve been my favorites ever since!

I don't think there's a story, it's just the "lets go wild" thing usually attached to the alice in wonderland concept. If what you saw was a "nugu promoter", the word "nugu" in Korean basically means "who" or "who is it". Therefore, a "nugu group" can be any groups that don't have a huge fanbase whether they're a newly debuting group or have been around a while. I’ll try my best to explain the general story behind their Alice in Wonderland series (Iriwa, Fantasy and Poison): -Iriwa: Daewang, who is wearing a white bunny mask with pink details, puts Pinkfantasy under her control here. “Iriwa” is translated as “come here”, which is basically what Daewang is saying to them during the entire song. She convinces them to follow her through the rabbit hole and into Wonderland with sweetness and innocence (hence why she is wearing the white bunny mask. Remember how Alice goes into Wonderland after following the white rabbit and falling through the hole?) -Fantasy: After following Daewang into Wonderland, they realise her cute appearance was just a front, and that everything that seemed wonderful at first is an illusion, a fantasy. That’s why the song and video are slightly darker than Iriwa, and why Daewang is wearing a black bunny mask with the sharp red teeth in it, they now realised Wonderland is terrible and they start trying to escape -Poison: All their attempts at escaping Wonderland have been futile, and they have given up on trying to get out. Instead, they turn on Daewang and basically start rubbing it in her face that while yes, they were fooled by her and are now trapped forever, she is unable to escape too, that she is just as trapped as the rest of them and she fell in her own trap. Daewang is wearing the black cat mask due to the intense choreography, but I guess you can also interpret it being a cat as her being found out not to be a cute innocent bunny, but a cunning and mischievous cat I hope I did a decent job at explaining, my ideas are always very messy, and please also consider that this is merely what I have gathered from watching the MVs and reading the lyrics, I’ve never been good at deciphering what details like lighting and objects in the music videos mean

Omg you guys really went down the rabbit hole, I'll try to explaining a bit though I don't know a lot about them either so I'll just repeat what I've seen other people saying and also my own interpretations, I've been checking out their stuff since Iriwa wich was their debut, and it seems that they have been going darker with every comeback, starting with iriwa, then fantasy, and now poison (those three songs being a trilogy). Now the other songs you guys have chekced, i'll start with the subunits, they have three subunits 2 that you've figured out in the video: pinkfantasy SHY and MDD, now the last subunit is the one that released shadowplay, the "bollywood" inspired song, however they promoted this subunit song under the full group's name because according to the company: "Too many sub-unit promotions might be confusing to broadcasting stations, and promoting this song under the full group name might bring more awareness to the full group" (I know, it's a mess). And lastly Lemon Candy and Playing House are just singles idk lol. Now, don't ask me about the members cause they keep changing, with some members quitting and others entering every time (it's a mess), the only thing i know is the bunny masked girl is Daewang, and they will reveal her face when they got their first win ( i'm not even sure if that's true either). Thank you for checking them out, they don't get a lot of recognition, and I feel this most recent comeback is a big risk considering metal is such a niched genre in kpop but I really hope they stick to the rock/metal sound since there's not many groups doing it
