Welcome back! I'm glad you guys saw these ❤ The dog in Taehyung's MVs isn't Tannie, but a lookalike named Rocky because taking Tannie to Mexico for two weeks was too risky. But the dog on the wall and on the mountain at 5:38 is Tannie - he's also the album cover and included in the physical packaging 😂 Tae talks about Tannie in his guesting with Pixid here on RU-vid - both him and Jimin came during their solo promotions (Jimin had to hide among provincial fans, while Tae among cat owners). I would love for you guys to check those out! Tae also did a video with Dingo Story where he spent a day with an ARMY 💜 JK is releasing his solo album "Golden" soon, with 8 new tracks! The album title is incredibly special. His mother dreamt of golden rain when she had him and RM, the guy he followed into BTS, coined the term golden maknae for him - he's been called that ever since. We're all proud and excited for what he's prepared 👀

You will love the Spo tify promotion videos for Tae and JK. They are like a cross between run episodes with games and missions and really informative fun questions. Tae’s ones are called ‘v makes it rain - spotipoly v edition’ (first part) and ‘v makes v poses and the world is good again - unboxing show’ (second part) they are available here. (the unboxing in the title is misleading… he’s not unboxing his album etc) JK’s ones are on the Spo tify, ‘jk on a mission to wish army’s sweet dreams’ and ‘Jungkook dives into a ball pit to answer Army’s burning questions’. JK’s is first timeline wise. They will make such a perfect reaction in one go and I’m sure you will love the games they each play etc. i agree with your interpretation of Blue that he is searching (for himself etc and that he’s locked out of his own self) until Tannie his Dog finds him and helps him. Incidentally the dog in the MV’s is called a stand in called Rocky. Because Tae shot in Spain he couldn’t bring Yeontan who has poor health… so he found a dog as similar as possible to play Yeontan. In Slow Dancing it is his own utopia that he has created. If you notice that when he takes the Polaroid, in the actual Polaroid they are all him. Yeontan’s picture is also all over the hills etc too. For Us is a beautiful epilogue of the Layover album and MV. All MV’s were filmed at the same time in the space of a week and a half. Credit to the twt ARMY @crzdNem who wrote this. Finally had min to breath. I've seen takes float abt Ja*ck's lyrics & mis0gyny but I had my own interpretation of line by line & in combo w/ one another. Read on for analysis& commentary on the "controversial" lyrics🤓☝️ It's a long read *btw can we stop using JH I keep reading J-H0pe💀 ------ The dead body reference: I've seen/heard some interpret this as talking abt women & it being problematic considering yes there's systemic issue of harm in relation to women, men & sex. Most especially when a woman refuses advances. However, broken down in context I think the part abt the dead body in combo w/ the visual in the MV is actually what is being misinterpreted by some: This can be partly fault of the visual direction (director). Him stepping over a 'dead body' was intended to be 'kitchy' or funny but I think it could be misinterpreted that he's talking about the girl... when actually he's talking about himself! (Wait rly?, yes) "When I seen that body" (When he saw her) "you would think it was a dead body" (He was stopped dead in his tracks so -he- was like a dead body. Another way saying she's 'drop dead gorgeous') "The way I told my boys, "Come look" (He told his friends come look at her like, wow) 📍This is also kind of a reference from a cpl movies probably the one most may be familiar with is 'Stand by Me' but it's also from 'Boyz in the Hood' Is the verse creative or amazing, no but he def. wasn't talking about a woman atp except to say he saw one that was sp "drop dead" gorgeous he couldn't help but tell his friends to also come look. 📍This verse wasn't a way to say she was in any state of being unable to consent to an encounter or that he was calling his boys to come take their turn. The following verse talks about what he -used to do- vs what he feels now: "I used to take girls up to Stony Brook And steal they hearts like some crook, true story" - PAST "Now when I hold somebody's hand, it's a new story" - PRESENT How I took this part is his view is kinda changing on the way he views women. In particular, the woman he is currently 'with'. Again next verses seems like he's back in the 'past' of how he'd viewed his relationship to & expected reactions from women, especially considering his current "status" so this part is speaking from the bravado pov of a man: All my ABGs get cute for me I had one girl (One girl), too boring Two girls (Two girls), that was cool for me Three girls, damn, dude's horny Four girls, okay, now you whorin' (Hey, hey, hey) Hey, I'm loose I done put these shrooms to good use I done put my city on my back And the world know my name, I'm the truth These verses are actually him jabbing at himself in the past, it's not necessarily his present view this also comes out with the line 'now you whorin'' that's in reference to -him- not women. 📍Again I think visual in MV can maybe be blamed somewhat as this could lead viewers to think he's talking abt girls themselves, but he's not. Them there being lined up is like a visual representation of what he -used- to be like... thinking every girl was the same interchangeable and just another # on his long list "I got you playin' with yourself on camera" You could take this as bravado but also just truth of where their relationship is atp. They are long distance, they've been cybering 🤷‍♀️ (Chorus literally is wanna see it in motion in 3D, thus far it's been "2D" through a screen/phone) Last verse is actually kind of clever ...kinda😂& if you think deeply abt it kinda socially aware of toxic masculinity: (Saayy waahhht?😮) You my bae, just like Tampa Speakin' of bucks, I got those 📍Again there's a bit of bravado in this but Bae & Tampa is play on Tampa Bay Buccaneers (US football team also know as the Bucs) Also, what do US football players have? $ (bucks) So J*ck's got money going for em. 🤓☝️ And as for f*cks, well, not those He doesn't really care about that tho (having money, status etc) or anything much else atp (for him it's abt her). and as for thots Well, do you really wanna know? I thought so. I took this too mean he may have had a past w/ various women(which he briefly mentioned in the previous lyrics) but does she -really- wanna kno more of the details of that tho? Probably not (hence his, "I thought so") I'll fly you from Korea to Kentucky 👉This line obviously was added cuz JK's from Korea & he wanted to rep both places. JK's country & his State but also if you take this in connection w/ his prior verses about having Bucks ($) & "status" (world knows his name) 📍This is actually something that'd be possible for him to do 'fly her out'. But if you also think of this in societal context, especially in west, what would a man probably be expecting from a woman if he showered her with attention, money, & flew her out to see him? 🤓👉🍑 But his last line is actually in a way acknowledging need for & HER ability to consent. 📍Tho he wants to see & be with (w/e girl has him like a dead body) in person he isn't expecting they have sex (tho he may have flew her out or may be able to provide her with nice things...) How can we say that?👇 "And you ain't gotta guarantee me nothing "I just wanna see if I get lucky I just wanna meet you in the physical and see if you would touch me" So actually they rly don't have to do anything if she doesn't want. But he's also being very real 📍Cuz we have to admit in the back of a man's mind somewhere when he's interested is... "I just wanna see if I get lucky" is it "right?" maybe not, but it's a thought. So J*ck's bars (if could call 'em that lol) imo are his story of past & present/future: In the end, whoever this girl is (whether asian or not) has him re-analyzing his whole life cuz he really likes her & is acknowledging she's human not just another random woman #... He's acknowledged she has right/ability to consent & he's okay with that, rather than being like his former self & just trying to 'steal [her] heart like a crook' like he would have in the past. END
