f(x) - Hot Summer & Electric Shock MV first time reaction! Today I'm reacting to the wonderful f(x) for the first time ever with the utter bangers that are Electric Shock and Hot Summer! I knew I would love this group and they most definitely did not disappoint! The girls are all straight up SUPERSTARS. The songs are both genuine bangers, and I honestly could not ask for more from my first f(x) experience! Perfection! Thank you to the lovely Mattshark for this request, you did me a solid! 😍😍

Sulli was and is my f(x) bias. She was a beautiful free-spirited young woman, but deeply troubled. After you've watched a few more f(x) MVs, please check out and react to Sulli's last song and MV, "Goblin". It tells the story of a person with a dissociative disorder. The lyrics and the dialogue in the MV are especially poignant knowing the sad fate that befell Sulli, but it also immortalises her as I like to remember her...A talented and beautiful soul.

I’M SO HAPPY!! F(x) is one of the best Kpop groups ever, they have brought so much to Kpop, they are one of the most experimental groups however all of their songs and especially their bsides are bops! I really wasn’t expecting to see this video so this feels like a great surprise!! I really recommend you to react to rum pum pum and red light as well!

Sulli’s death was the day after my birthday. She was a really good friend of IU who delayed the start the start of her tour because of it. Sulli’s artwork is the inspiration for IU’s Red Queen on Chatshire. Sadly the last night of the delayed tour was the death of Hara, which IU found out about on stage.

Because you mentioned Danger: Take note that f(x) had 2 similarly titled songs, Dangerous & Danger. They are 2 very different (& good!) songs, but because of the similar titles to prevent confusion fans started calling Danger by an alternate name, Pinnochio, since it's a memorable part of the song & written across the background of the video. When the album was repackaged a bit later with 2 songs added, they reflected that by making the title say Danger (Pinnochio) instead of just Danger. Just wanted to mention that in case when you search for it that it pops up with the slightly different title.

While I will call myself MEU, I really think that, since the name was VERY late and grudgingly bestowed, AND nothing was ever going to sweeten SM's regard for them, f(x) should have embraced the spear they'd been run through with and literally call the fandom NAMELESS. That is my true identity, that NAMELESS fandom that is still angry about how everything went down.

Shaun, you still have their best songs coming later (Rum Pum Pum, Red Light, and 4 Walls), and you'll be blown away. Also, their Pink Tape album is widely considered one of the most important K-pop albums in the history of k-pop.

f(x) actually didn't have an official fandom name for a number of years, but as of a few months ago, f(x) fans can now call themselves "MeU", which stands for "me" and "you"! Other than showing the love between f(x) and their fans, "MeU" also represents the mathematical symbol "mu", which relates to the group's name. f(x) is often called "function" by the fandom because as their name implies, you can plug in any music or vocal style and the group will make it work f(x) is always spelled with a lowercase f. Never with an upper case F. Even if their name is at the start of a sentence.

In case you want to check it out, f(x) also made a full Japanese version of Hot Summer for Japanese fans, & personally I like the official video for it even better than the Korean version. The Korean is the "cute" daytime vibe, while the Japanese is "a bit of glam, going out to the club" night vibe!

Identification guide: You know Amber and Krystal. In Hot Summer, Luna was the blonde you noticed, Sulli had the braid (and sometimes bunny ears hat), Victoria had reddish hair and mostly wore the black & white skirt. In Electric Shock, your 1st WHO IS was Victoria (blonde in this video), 2nd WHO IS was Luna (brown hair), and 3rd WHO IS was Sulli (braids, again).

The way I see it: Twice is the new SNSD Blackpink is the new 2NE1 Itzy is the new f(x) The f(x)-Itzy comparison is more than just style, strangely. Music & fashion, yeah. Both considered dance-heavy, both 5 member groups. Both are the little sister group of the biggest girl group of their label. Plus the maknae is the tallest. :) Not sure who I'd say is the new Sistar. Maybe Mamamoo? No idea who the new 4Minute is, either, if there even is one. Maybe Le Sserafim, stylistically.
