Then there was the British rock that is full of queer people, FIZZ, whose album “The Secret To Life” and their song “The Grand Finale” brought their version of The Beatles sound to the young punks/art punks, that gave me the absolute best fuzzy happy feeling. Finally there is Trace Lysette, a trans actress who is campaigning for the Oscars, with her absolutely groundbreaking performance in the film Monica. She is making great headway, appearing on many news programs, daytime talk shows, having screenings of Monica, with Q&As afterwards. She even got to have an Academy screening, which is so rare for a trans film, campaigning for the Oscars. I know there are just 6 people I mentioned, but there are tons of other LGBTQIA+ people who easily have the right to be called mother over Meghan Trainor.

I am in actual shock at that rap critic song. If there's anything to be gained from it, he's improved at his craft. Nothing spectacular of course, but comparing that to "Wavedashin" for example is basically impossible

Honestly when it comes to songs about being a robot and stuff, not only has it been done a million times but I feel like unless there's some story or creative approach it just falls flat lol. As for interesting approaches, I really enjoy mili's "world.execute(me);" for the interesting concept but also for the fact that the lyrics on screen are literally written out in code. It's a 7 year old song at this point and it still sticks with me! I just feel like there are so many ways to take upon this concept of a robot learning about humans/being different or whatever and Grimes just took the most boring way out
