I feel like there are more male feet shots in elden ring than female ones. With his newest game Miyazaki truly reimaged the whole concept of soulsborne.
I’ve been watching your Elden Ring content this week, and you are one of the most entertaining people to watch play this game. Got me laughing my ass off. Highly underrated channel!
Fun fact - if you can manage to hit his eye during the second phase it's a *huge* weakpoint. I managed to get it with a jumping greatsword slash when he was bending over and took off a huge chunk of his health.
Struggled a lot with him in my first playthrough (as with almost all bosses because it was my first souls game), but I thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle of Fire Giant 👌
From my experience, this is probably one of the fights that uses Torrent the best. Hopping on to close the gap or circle the giant from behind; at JUST the right speed to avoid some of the faster fireballs or gain distance from the ones that chase you. Get close during fire attacks on Torrent but never when he uses his arms, and hop off the moment you wanna attack or are close. It makes the fight so much more spectacular. Even if when you are a melee player you always still have to look at its feet for most of the fight since most people will not bother going for the wrists in phase 2. (Can't entirely blame theme either)
As annoying as the Fire Giant was, especially with all the rolling and phase 2 not being obvious how to hurt him, I agree that he wasn't TOO bad considering he at least has a definite weakness. I also summoned Alexander when I saw his summon sign, too. Fighting side by side with Alexander felt right. There are certain boss fights where I see who you summon and I just summon them regardless of how easy the fights really are, like Blaidd.
@@Wraff Ohh you're right I didn't even realize that, I'm honestly still impressed you defeated this guy in two tries without torrent though, when I played I thought he was one of the harder bosses
