Yes, Soyeon did indeed write, arrange, and produce the song, choreographed and came up with the design for the live stage on Queendom. She said in an interview that of all the songs she has done, this is her favorite. It's unclear when the music video was shot, but from what little has been announced it was definitely before the final Queendom performance and before anyone knew how the groups would rank at the end (not going to spoil THAT for you or anyone else who hasn't seen it). CUBE deserves lots of credit for giving the green light for the music video early enough that it could be released three days after the final Queendom broadcast, making the most of Idle's exposure.

There two theories I stand by: My own, that the "baaaaa baaaa baaaaa" part is in reference to sheep as in "the lion does not concern himself with the opinions of sheep." And someone else's that I saw, that Soyeon's verse is like a lioness' hunt: first stalking, then the building chase, then the takedown. They're coming for y'all asses. I recently came to the realization that they're my favorite girl group. They're just so unique and talented. You can't tie them down to one style and they kill it. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Please please pleeeeeeeaaaase tour in the US. I'd pay a grand to see them. Easily. Also, I know Shuhua is the visual for a reason. She wears very little makeup and still looks flawless. But Miyeon is an actual goddess wtf. I refuse to believe she's just a mere mortal. It's not possible.

It's definitely pronounced "Idle", no G. The girls don't mind if you say the G though - when speaking in English Minnie and Yuqi sometimes say the G just because it is so common in the US. But in Korea it is always just "Idle".

I think if you watch Queendom or at least the last episode where they discuss the making of this song and the performance you can understand the story...though you kind of get the story from the MV too..... ...The Queendom performance had a Joan of Arc story behind it someone commented on another video. On Instagram someone had footage of their live performance/comeback where they ended same way as video...BUT they don't actually sit on the dancers, they just bend their knees to make it seem like it
