10:27 Because the character has been confirmed to be male multiple times in official media, even in the MonsterVerse movies, and that's not even mentioning the fact that he's called the "King of the Monsters". Godzilla is indeed a "he".
From 1962-1975 the Godzilla movies werent made to be serious they were more for fun so if you got confused that Godzilla can dance and fly that's only because they were more light hearted movies
In the older films Godzilla is described as gender-neutral pronouns being referred to as "it" while in the newer films he is described as a Male that's why he is called KING of the monsters. Also in 1954-1975 the actor of Godzilla used a rubber suite. He also had dance moves because the movies weren't as serious as the newer ones instead it was more fun and aimed toward children
"HE HAD A SUIT!?" Well, if you didn't know, all the Japanese godzilla movies until godzilla 2004 (godzilla final wars) we're actors in suits, but the bad thing about the suits was that they rotten after 2 years, and in the close-up scenes, they used a godzilla puppet and a spray to remake his atomic breath. The head of the suit was separated from the suit, and I think the suit had something that releases spray but a bit much bigger
2:23 its not the creators fault its like that 3:12 thats gabara 3:33 monster movie technology wasnt as advanced than you'd think it'd be in japan 4:29 no he'd need the combined power of mothra to do so 4:34 no 4:47 him before mutating into godzilla 5:56 he adopted that godzilla 9:20 its a different species of godzilla 9:30 2016 godzilla but still developing 10:20 no you are not used to the effects of modernization
This guy didn't know that they used actors in suits for Godzilla and other Kaijus back then!? Tells me that this guy only knows about the Legendary Godzilla.
In his book, Godzilla co-creator Tomoyuki Tanaka suggested that the monster was probably male. In the 1998 film Godzilla, the monster is referred to as a male and is depicted laying eggs through parthenogenesis.
And in 1965 “attack of the Astro-monster” Godzilla was taking a turn towards more like a kid’s & adults action movie/TV show thus making the Godzilla’s dance more sensible/reasonable
Lol Zilla is also a male even tho he's a he, he can asexually reproduce with parthernogenesis as in cloning through his own cells into his body and have the ability to lay eggs
@potato-rw4by First of All Godzilla 1998 Isn't Zilla, Zilla was just shown in Final Wars Second of all, Godzilla 1998 is a hermaphroditic Organism, it's considered a male but capable to reproduce asexually
That and the decades worth official material literally referencing the monster as male multiple times and Toho themselves has stated Godzilla is indeed male.
In the original Japanese films, Godzilla and all the other monsters are referred to with gender-neutral pronouns equivalent to "it", while in the English dubbed versions, Godzilla is explicitly described as a male.
He adopted baby Godzilla from Rodan. Which makes HIM his father. He just found an egg guarded but Rodan. So you see, he is a dude. By the way, he is the KING of the monsters. And kings are dudes.
@@mcflashy14games50 No Godzilla is a he. Both Minilla from the showa era and Godzilla jr from the heisei era were stated to be adopted sons. Plus Godzilla is generally referred to as a he and is called the KING of the monsters.
I like really like godzilla but why godzilla be a girl? He doesn't even have long hair like a girl duh who says that godzilla is a girl he's a king of monters and king is a male so u saw the go king of monters movie how did miss the title it says king is MALE DUH PEE BRAIN.
there was a girl godzilla called gojirin but the original godzilla is a boy he just somehow lays eggs bc its litterally just a cgi'd character he could turn into an iguana at any point in time
If godzilla was a girl they would not title the second Godzilla movie "Godzilla "KING!!" OF THE FREAKIN MONSTERS" IT would be called "godzilla QUEEN OF THE FREAKING MONSTERS!!!!!!" NOT KING
In the original Japanese films, Godzilla and all the other monsters are referred to with gender-neutral pronouns equivalent to "it", while in the English dubbed versions, Godzilla is explicitly described as a male.
Ive never felt so insulted before.....but I guess I understand it. The older stuff isnt for everyone, and while I love this video a lot much of the art isnt 100% accurate
There is a girl Godzilla in the 1998 first American flim watch it first a Godzilla died then the Babies then a different Godzilla came so I’m guessing the mother died then the babies then the dad then actually 1 baby survived
Funfact: The 2nd form is kamata kun the 3rd form is Shinagawa kun and the 4th from is Kamakura san! All of the names are named after actual japanese cities and the name kun is a semi-formal title for a man the name San" is the most commonplace honorific and is used to address anyone regardless of age. It's the English equivalent to "Mr.," "Mrs.," "Ms.," and "Miss.
I'm probably younger than y'all but I took one good look at 1954 goji and said that's a person in a suit LIKE IF A 👧 CAN FIGURE IT OUT A GROWN MAN CAN TOOO (I'm commenting so much because this video made me so mad lmao)
I was literally triggered throughout this whole video. He calls Godzilla a 'she' even though he's called the *KING* of the monsters and claims that he's right about Godzilla being a female and not a male. As a Godzilla fan, this greatly angers me and so I left a dislike (which I have never done before). This man clearly doesn't know who Godzilla is. I'm not trying to be mean here, it's just that anything he says about Godzilla angers me. He doesn't even believe that in "Godzilla vs Gigan", the actor was wearing a suit and it actually ripped during filming. He clearly needs to do his research. Again, no hate to this guy but if I hear someone talk *shit* about my boy Godzilla, then you bet I'll be pissed off.
@@iaminsideyourwalls2021 yeah maybe but still it’s still stupid to pass on unconfirmed information on to something you literally barely know anything about the character
Male:king. Female:Queen. Mothra is Queen godzilla is king Mothra: when she dies she can lay an egg then she can always return.Btw Godzilla does not have a son that is adopted son not an actual son so not a girl
i found this on the internet about the he or she of the godzila "Godzilla is a fictional beast, so he is not exactly like any specific animal. He (in the MonsterVerse films, Godzilla is consistently referred to as “he”) is a giant, prehistoric, dinosaur-like marine animal, similar in shape to a Tyrannosaurus rex."
Why is the movie called godzilla king of the monsters if he has no gender and also godzilla is a male and always has been Male maybe TriStar godzilla is a female godzilla is a male Japanese or American he is a male what kind of drugs are you smoking watch wikizilla idiot
When he means suit, he meant that in the making they put a human in a Godzilla suit. And Godzilla 1998 is a she but most of the Godzilla series, Godzilla is a he.
Also in the credits of King Of The Mosnsters the credits say he, and hes the same in both 2014 and 2019 so this man is havibg a mental breakdown over him being wrong lol
The movie creators said that he is a boy but they knew one thing that sort of makes him seem like a girl he didn't have male reproductive parts for two reasons They knew most of the movie was going to be from the ground and they realized WHO WOULD WANT TO SEE THAT
I know Godzilla was described as 'it' but Godzilla jr is adopted but in Godzilla vs kong, Godzilla king of monsters, and Godzilla Godzilla jr does not exist yet.
King crane, if Godzilla have a baby it’s mean it’s a girl, so maybe Godzilla might adopted the baby so the baby Godzilla will not be alone. And the first American Godzilla have a baby so she is a girl. If a male Godzilla is the king or have a wife is mean it’s a man. So Godzilla can be different gender.
LIKE DUDE (I actually don't know if I'm right ) But Didn't Showa or like the first few godzillas before monster verse fight more monsters THAN LEGENDARY GODZILLA!?!?
